Chapter 124: Chapter 124 : Interesting person

If you thought that one volleyball game could save me from all trouble, you were sorely mistaken. 

After the game, Sally and my teammates did talk to me. However, it was as though the spell had broken when the next day came. There was some improvement, though. Although they hadn't talked to me again after that day, none of my teammates ignored my morning greeting anymore. They even smiled at me a little.

When the result of our midterm was out and pasted on the news board, everyone was brimming with curiosity. Following the flow, I also checked out the result. As expected, I was the first place in my year again. 

I moved my gaze downwards through the name list and found Carla's name in the third position. She would be the most formidable rival for the student council president's spot, so I was warier of her.
