Chapter 2: 1: The escape of Sarang

"How dare them to deceived the elders. Capture Chorong and Siwon, bring them to me right now!" the sound of Myungsoo's voice is echoing at the four corners of Cheongsam hall.
Cheongsam hall is a part of tamra where they punished the humpires that disobeyed them.
"Yeah, elders!" the chorus answered of shadow humpire. And they disappeared in the dark.
Meanwhile, at Kim's residence.......
Chorong is sleeping in their master's bedroom, when she suddenly wakes up, sweat is visible on her face. She hurriedly runs downstairs while shouting her husband's name.
"Siwon!Siwon!"Where are you Siwon?"
Siwon appeared from the kitchen worriedly and saw her wife full of sweats,
"Why are you shouting Chorong? And why are you sweating like that?" asked Siwon.
"Where is So Eun?"Siwon, I sensed that the elderly know already about our child for being the sarang!" worried Chorong said.
"What?Impossible!"She always wears the galbi, and she never takes it off."Siwon said.
"Appa,Eomma, are you quarreling?" asked the 8 years old So Eun, who just came from outside. (Later on, Kim Sha Ahnne)
Chorong looks at her child's neck and she found out that So Eun is not wearing the galbi that she gave her.Galbi is a necklace that protected and blocked the elders and other humpires to sense where and who the sarang is.
"So Eun, where is the galbi?"I told you not to take it off even just once!"Chorong asked while shaking her daughter's shoulder.
"I just let Eunji eonni to borrowed it for a while eomma." said So Eun.
"Eonni, what's happening here?" asked Dara who also came from outside together with Eunji.
Chorong explained to Dara, her one and only sister, about their situation right now.
"Oh, My God!"What are you going to do now?" Any moment the shadow humpire will come here and get your children, their lives are in danger now, especially So Eun." says Dara as she hugs her two nieces.
Eunji at the age of 10 still can't cope with their situation.
Siwon without thinking runs hurriedly to their room and gets Chorong and So Eun's passport then returns quickly. He gives the passport to Chorong and gives her some money.
"Go! Take So Eun with you and go to a place where they can't find our child," said Siwon.
"Eomma, are you going to leave me?" asked Eunji, trying to hold her tears.
Chorong hug Eunji so tight.
"I'm sorry Eunji but this is just for the meantime, It won't take so long. We will see each other again soon, I promise you."Saranghae my child."
They heard the entrance gate forcefully open.
"They're already here! Go Chorong, take the back door, and remember one thing, never come and contact us until I can't settle this problem."Understand?" says Siwon and for the last time he hugs her wife quickly."Saranghae,Chorong"
"Uhm,Saranghaeyo" said Chorong, and she runs to the back door while holding So Eun's hand.
"Eomma, I don't want to go".I don't want to leave appa and eonni." cried So Eun."Appa!Eonni!
"So Eunaah!Eomma!"Don't leave me." cried Eunji. She wants to follow them but her aunt holds her shoulders so tight.
"Dara, take Eunji away from this house."If something bad will happen to me, please take good care of my child." said Siwon.
"Ne Oppa" answered Dara.
"Ga!Palli!Before they can see you here!" says Siwon.
Dara and Eunji quickly run to the back door to escape.Eunji turns her head to her dad and saw him beaten by the shadow humpire. She can't do anything but cry.
"Appa"Eunji whisper while running.
The shadow humpire brought Siwon to Cheongsam hall, where the elderly is waiting.
"Where is your daughter, the sarang?" asked Chanyeol, his voice as cold and scary as his looks.
"Elders, you're just mistakenly my daughter."She's a sarang but she's not the sarang you've been looking for so long." explained Siwon, as he groans in pain.
"Lier! You dare to deceived the elders,after we accepted you again!"You deserved to die right now!"shout Myungsoo,and he twisted Siwon's head,it made a sound like a broken bones,in an instant Siwon became breathless.
"Feed his body to "horanggi"said the ruthless Myungsoo.
Chanyeol called Changmin,one of the shadow humpires that captured Siwon.
"I will give you one week to find and bring sarang to me!"If you can't find her within the time given to you,I will surely punish you and your son!"Understand?"ordered Chanyeol.
"Yeah"answered Changmin,although,he doesn't know where to find the sarang.
"Go and find her right now!"elder Myungsoo's last words before they disappear in the dark.
After one week,Changmin still couldn't find sarang.The elderly are very furious,so they commanded the shadow humpire to capture Changmin and his son.
"You failed the ordered that I gave you!"You disappointed us!"We will punish you and your son to death!"said Chanyeol angrily.
Changmin kneeled to elders and beg.
"Appa"cried the 10 years old boy.Two shadow humpire are grasping his both arms.
"I'm begging you elders,just kill me but please spare my son's life!"Changmin's beg.
"Elders Jongin is so young,he is tough,and he can help you to find sarang when he grow up!"Changmin continue to beg.
The elderly think about what Changmin said.
"Hmm,You have a point."said Chanyeol after thinking for awhile.He command the shadow humpire to lock Changmin in prison.
"Appa!"shout Jongin as he see her father drag by the shadow humpire.
"From now on,I will pass the responsibility of finding the sarang to your hands Jongin(later on Lee Kai).But if you try to disobey my command and try to escape I will feed your fathers body to horanggi!"Understand?".(Horanggi is a very scary creatures,he ate every human flesh,and he's controlled by elderly Myungsoo's power.
"And from now on,you are the new "gwineun"and I command you to find sarang at all cost!"says Myungsoo and he emblem a crescent moon on Jongin's left shoulder,using his sharp thumb nail.The crescent moon is the symbol that,Jongin is the gwineun that also controlled by Myungsoo's power.If ever Jongin disobey the elderly,Myungsoo can harm him through that mark.
"Yeah,elder!"answered Jongin,enduring the pain from his shoulder.
He silently vow to find and bring the sarang,for his father's sake.
As time passed by,Jongin grew into a very handsome man,one by one he's gaining the abilities of his father for being a shadow humpire.
