Chapter 4: 4: Froakie
"So, do you see a Pokémon that fits your eyes?" Professor oak said as he walked Leo through the Pokémon breeding center, it was basically full off many starters..
[System is selecting a potential starter for host] the system suddenly rang out before Leo could even reply..
"What?" Leo was shocked as he currently wasn't expecting this situation, but it also made him very curious about the systems choice.
Swoosh!
The wind whistles slightly as Leo felt something land on his shoulder, he was shocked as it was a Froakie, not only that, it seemed excited and happy to see him.
"Oh, I didn't think this little guy would be here" Professor oak said as he noticed froakies behavior.
"Professor, what type of Pokémon is this?" Leo asked curiously as he stroked froakies small head, it seemed to quite like him, probably due to the system.
Even though Leo asked this, he knew very well which Pokémon this was, it was a Froakie, his favorite starter Pokémon.
"This is a starter Pokémon that I had gained from the Kalos region from a close friend, it had only hatched about a month ago, a water type Froakie" Professor oak said with a slight laugh..
"Well I guess it's fate that it chose you, you can keep this Froakie" Professor oak said as he handed me a pokeball...
"Professor is it really okay? After all this was a Pokémon from your friend" Leo said.
"It's okay young man, but just promise to contact me as you train this Froakie, as I was previously doing some research on it" he said before handing Leo a piece of paper with his number on it.

"It'll be good to stay in touch with him, as Professor oak can provide a lot of help in the future" Leo thought as he placed the paper in his bag.
He then said to the Froakie which was happily jumping on his head.
"So Froakie, do you want to be my first partner" while pulling out the pokeball.
"Frooo" Froakie immediately jumped off Leo's head before tapping on the pokeball, it then turned into a flash of light before entering.

"An automatic feeding system? And 10,000 pokecoins, that's a lot of help" Leo said as he tossed the pokeball a few times.
"Thanks Professor oak" he said as he shrunk the pokeball and placed it within his backpack strap.
"No problem child, now go on, your father should be waiting for you in the back, I had already informed him" Professor oak said with a light smile before walking back into the main room.
- Leo waited for a while before tapping on the new [pokemon] category which had lit up.
