Chapter 47: Chapter 45

Allan picked up all the remnants of the party by himself. When he offered to clean up for him he didn't realize how long it would take him.

The main square is large and one of the most important points of the town. Fortunately, Allan had the inventory which turned a six-hour job into a one-hour job.

Currently Allan had just finished and began to admire his work when a voice sounded behind him.

"Hoo, it turned out very well"

Allan turned around to see who was behind him.

"Sara, what are you doing here? Don't you have to help out at the inn? " Allan asked puzzled.

"Don't think I don't know what you're planning!" Sara said with a slight tone of anger "Do you think I didn't see that all your things had disappeared when I went to wake you up to your room? You were going to leave without saying goodbye! Again!!!" Sara said as she gnashed her teeth in anger.

Allan looks at her in disbelief and suddenly:

"Hahaha" Allan laughed for no reason. Seeing Allan who was laughing Sara far from being angry she expresses real confusion.

After laughing, Allan looks at Sara's face and holding back the urge to laugh again, said:

"It is true that I was going to leave, but you are wrong in one thing. I've already said goodbye "

"Eh? When? I have not seen you" Sara accused him of lying.

"When? At the party. Why do you think we have celebrated this party? It was a farewell party Sara "

It's true, during the party Allan spoke to all the guests and said goodbye. Everyone knew that this would be the last time they would see each other.

"B-but, it's too soon, you can stay a few more days" Sara said trying to find a reason for Allan to stay.

"Then what? If I stay a few more days, those days will turn into weeks, and those weeks into years" said Allan, looking sadly at Sara "Look, this isn't easy for me either, I've grown fond of the town, you, Tom, to Sam, to all of you "

"Then stay! You can earn money hunting or joining the guards- "

"But" Before he could continue Allan interrupted Sara "I also like to explore, see new things, see what this world has to offer. If I stay, I will never be able to see all the wonders that are out there "

From the beginning Allan's goals of getting into the game were clear: Have an advantage over others, prepare to make money in the game, and enjoy it.

Although he has stayed so long on Tutorial Island it is not as if that time has been useless, Allan has learned many things that he did not know and he has received a lot of help from the inhabitants of the town. Allan is sure that few people in the game have learned and improved as much as he has, regardless of the difference in levels.

Also, although the number of players is increasing, the number currently in Idle Online is still very small.

Allan doesn't think the developers will let his game continue to have so few users. Most likely, at some point the company will do something that will make people from all over the country, perhaps from all over the world, play Idle Online, after all, the game is too well done to be wasted in this way.

So it is not too late yet, but if Allan is delayed further, it is possible that he will not be able to obtain a favorable position with respect to the new players. Now that he has managed to get rid of one of his unfavorable titles is the best time to go.

Seeing Sara's expression of disagreement, Allan said jokingly:

"Could it be that you want me to stay? If you beg me on my knees, maybe I will consider it "

Slap

After Allan said that Sara slapped him so hard that she almost threw him out of the square.

Fortunately, Allan reacted in time and moved back a bit, otherwise he would have received all the power from Sara's palm.

"Who wants you to stay? For me you can leave and never come back!!! " Sara said as she turned and ran away.

When Sara walked away he reacted, far from being angry Allan smiled and shouted:

"GOODBYE SARA, I HAVE A GREAT TIME BY YOUR SIDE"

"LIKE I CARE !!!" it was heard from afar.

If Allan had chased her he might have appreciated that Sara's face was slightly red.

"ALLAN, ALLAN, OPEN THE DOOR"

In a small apartment block, a man accompanied by a woman was banging on the door of a flat while they shouted.

While the man didn't seem to mind, the woman seemed nervous about disturbing the neighbors.

"Maybe I'm not at home. What if we come back later?" the woman said feeling uncomfortable for coming without warning.

"How is he not going to be home? You and I have heard noise inside, it is obvious that it is inside. ALLAN! EITHER YOU OPEN THE DOOR OR I TOOK IT DOWN! YOU HEARD ME?" the man yelled as he kept pounding on the door.

After saying goodbye to Sara Allan, he was going to disconnect when he received an unexpected visitor.

"Hahaha, the youth" said a voice approaching.

Allan turned around to appreciate who he was, when he saw him he couldn't help but be surprised.

"Captain Smith what are you doing here?" Allan asked as he never observed the captain in a place other than the barracks.

"I came to say goodbye, after all it is my fault that you have to leave the island" said Capt. Smith while he had a sad smile.

"Don't worry about that captain, sooner or later I would have left town, I was already thinking it was time to go," Allan replied.

"I see. I have something to give you" Smith said as he searched his pockets.

"Although we both know that the outsiders will teleport to the Dragon Kingdom, the exact place is unknown so I wanted to give you this"

The captain took something out of his pocket and handed it to Allan. In Allan's hands was a folded piece of paper.

"What is this?" Allan asked as he unfolded it.

"It is a map of the Dragon Kingdom, it is a very basic map with only the names of the main cities of the kingdom and some landmarks, anyone who makes maps will consider it garbage but it will be enough to guide you in the general direction" said Smith.

"Ah, that ..."

Seeing that Allan's reaction was not what he expected, the captain asked if something happened, when he heard that nothing was happening, Smith asked him:

"Do you know how to read a map?

"Eh? No, I do not know"

After listening to Allan Smith, he began to explain how to use a map and the things to attend to.

As Allan listened to the captain he couldn't help feeling somewhat uncomfortable, the reason for that is the letter he has in his inventory.

[Letter of recommendation]

[Quest Item: Letter written by Captain Smith to player Allan

Note: When the player teleports from Tutorial Island his destination will be set to the quest city]

Although the map was completely useless to Allan, he still decided to hear what Smith had to say, reading maps is a very useful skill.

"You've understood?" Smith questioned.

After thirty minutes the captain had finished counting what was necessary.

"Yes," Allan said without hesitation. Although Allan couldn't memorize it the entire game menu comes with a note function where Allan put everything Smith had said.

"I'm glad" Smith did not seem to doubt what Allan just said and left after talking with Allan.

Seeing that he was done with everything he had to do, Allan went to a small option on the menu.

<< Do you want to leave Tutorial Island? >>

<< Yes / No >>

Allan looked one last time at the square and after selecting yes Allan disappeared.
