Chapter 1426: A Theory

Dr. Tony Scardon sat beside a table, restlessly tapping his foot on the ground as he drank the water he was provided while looking at his watch.

He didn't look at his watch for anything good at all. These few days, it appeared that he wouldn't find anything good in this city at all. 

After being beaten up for another time and nearly killed, he knew to look out for any signs of his death and work toward avoiding it. Thankfully, no black screens had appeared on his watch just yet.

"Dr Tony?" Ning called out and the man turned around to look at him.

Tony turned around and looked at Ning, Tim, and Jasmine. "Ah, it's really you guys. I thought I was being lied to," he quickly said.

Ning looked at the man from top to bottom, judging the clothes he wore. The woolen robes with a scarf, a hat, and a pair of spectacles in such a hot temperature were enough to make Ning feel uncomfortable just looking at him.
