Aiden raised his eyebrows. "Okay?"

I nod, still not sure if I was making the right decision. But this is what my heart wanted. "Okay. We can try whatever this is and forget about it after the break." I don't know how I could possibly forget about it, but I knew I would try my hardest to put everything behind me.

"Kids, we're off to the mall." Karen's voice came from downstairs, startling me a little and I heard the front door slam shut.

I turned back to Aiden, and he took a deep breath. "Good. A relationship is a territory I haven't dared myself to enter. But I do know that I have feelings for you and I like you. So, let's just try this."
