Chapter 71: Words of The Eldest Witch.

These words Oranmiyan heard braced him into a sudden halt. At first he looked around and even yet behind him just if anyone had spoken to him. But all he saw was thick darkness. He endured himself to stare at the tree in the T-junction.

And for what had he looked for? The Eldest Witch threw another question at him which he answered after a pause. For he is only curious to see the face of the Elder who spoke to him. 

Only these words ordered the rest of the witches into their prolonged wicked cackle. And if he is sure he shall not run away were the words of the Eldest Witch even yet now as they saw through Oranmiyan and his fear which dwells over his head. 

But his wish they shall grant. Even if Oranmiyan thinks they showed their real faces he deceived himself as the Eldest Witch and the rest of the witches suddenly made their presence before him.
