Chapter 144: Routine

Announcing her arrival, Lulu opened the door to Ember's room. "Good Morning big sis Ember. The food is prepared for our bre... gwak!"

Lulu was suddenly smothered by an overtly enthusiastic dragonkin who rubbed against her face. No matter how much Lulu tried to struggle and push away the clingy crimson princess, the small moontide phoenixkin didn't have nearly enough strength to make the dragonkin budge even a slight bit.

*sniffa* *sniffa*

Ember nuzzled her face against the cute Lulu's gruntled face a little bit more while sniffing the wonderful scent of her hair that always seemed to have a refreshing quality to it.

"Mornin Lulu! You're such a great cuddle buddy you know." Placing the disgruntled moontide phoenixkin down, Ember stood straight with her fists on her hips as if ready for what the day had in store.

'Why do they have to do that?! Are all beastkin like this?! Always messing up my hair! Ugh...'
