As the trio sat, waiting for morning to come, it seemed like the beast of the midlands was having a field day at the expense of everyone. The second growl in the night had left the king harmed and everyone had fled the party.

It was easier for them to go home, than stay around and wait for the beast of the midlands to show up again. Besides, the beast had no qualms with the citizens of the midlands unless they had harmed the children, but then, up until today, no child was harmed.
