ALEX’ POV

I struggled to chase my sleep last night. It didn’t help that there was this persistent ringing when the sun wasn’t even up yet this early morning. With puffy eyes, I struggled to search for the source of the sound that turned out to be Bree’s phone.

Her girlfriend wants to facetime her.

After turning to my side and seeing Bree’s adorable face when she’s in deep slumber, I decided to answer the call myself.

How could I disturb such peace and cuteness? (sigh)

I stood near the window which is a safe distance away from the bed and pushed the curtains a bit for the peeking rays of light to illuminate me.

“Gooood Morniiinnggg bab– ”

Ari’s cheery voice booms as her bright face invades the phone screen. I was shocked as she was. I, for her sudden over-the-top excitement which was out-of-the-character while her, definitely, for seeing other than the one she’s expecting.
