Friday.
The two were laid in the small hospital bed, staring at each other. Izuku had an oxygen mask on and was pumped full of meds, causing him to slip in and out of consciousness. Katsuki was holding Izuku tightly and protectively in his arms, not wanting their time to end yet.
Izuku's green eyes gently sparkled as he looked into Katsuki's crimson ones. The two stayed silent, enjoying the last of what they had together. Izuku gripped onto Katsuki's shirt, tears running down his face as he mumbled incoherent things to his mate. Katsuki lifted Izuku's chin, quickly slipping off the mask and pecking his mates lips.
"I love you," Katsuki whispered, nuzzling his face into Izuku's hair.
"I love you too."
Katsuki held Izuku tighter, wanting to be as close to him as possible. Izuku's grip slowly loosened, causing Katsuki to come to his senses. Katsuki cradled Izuku, softly rocking back and forth, whispering sweet nothings as Izuku's breathing slowed.
Izuku looked up at Katsuki, offering a small watery smile, causing Katsuki's lips to curl into the familiar sensation. Izuku stopped blinking, his eyes staring straight into Katsuki's soul as his head fell limply onto the pillow.
The heart monitors slowly let out a long beep, revealing the greenette's death. Katsuki let out a wet sob, one after another spilling from his lips, begging Izuku to come back. The nurses and doctors left the room, letting the blonde mourn his newly dead soulmate.

A week and a day before death, Thursday.
It had been two weeks since Katsuki and Izuku got together. The two were happily cuddling on the couch of the community room, indulged in each other's presence. Everyone around them seemed to notice the two, who happily chatted over random things.
Our favorite pair didn't care too much about the others at the moment, only one another filling their thoughts. Katsuki ran his fingers through Izuku's green locks, earning him a purr. Katsuki continued, enjoying the purring human laid on his chest.
Izuku closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep. Katsuki noticed and picked up his boyfriend, carrying him to his room. Izuku nuzzled into Katsuki's shoulder, loving the attention.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Katsuki laid Izuku down, watching the smaller male curl up, making grabby hands. Katsuki rolled his eyes but laid down next to Izuku, making himself comfortable before his boyfriend could curl up onto him. Izuku sleepily blinked his eyes, waiting for his boyfriend to give him the cue, wanting cuddles and warmth.
Katsuki got comfortable and opened his arms, letting the greenette jump happily into them. Izuku was back asleep in the blink of an eye, leaving Katsuki to his thoughts.
Katsuki let his head rest against the green curls layered beneath him. Katsuki hummed to himself, letting the white noise consume him, pulling him into a dream.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friday, I have one week. Izuku held Katsuki's hand as they traveled around the mall. Izuku pointed to a store with superhero merch, practically begging Katsuki to enter the store.
"Geez, you're still such a nerd!" Katsuki exclaimed as the two entered the store.
"Shut it, Kacchan. Unless you want me to tell everyone about your plushie," Izuku comments sarcastically.
Katsuki shut his mouth and let his hand slip from Izuku's as he trailed the store. Izuku turned on his heel, walking to a random shelf looking over the available items.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Katsuki was playing with Izuku's curls as Izuku played on his phone. Izuku was sitting on the floor of Katsuki's room, in front of the bed, Katsuki lazily watching the tv as well.
"Did you wash your hair today?" Katsuki asked, his nails gently brushing the greenette's scalp.
Izuku purred, leaning into Katsuki's touch, thinking before gently responding," No, I don't think so."
It's Saturday, Izuku, you have to tell him. No, I don't want to yet. To bad.
"Hey Kacchan, can I tell you something?" Izuku asked, placing his phone down in his lap.
"Yeah, what is it, nerd?" Katsuki responded, giving his boyfriend his attention.
"I have cancer, and I have six days left if you don't count today. I knew I should have told you sooner but, I didn't want to be alone while I was dying and-," Izuku stopped as he heard Katsuki start.
"Okay," Katsuki said simply, feeling the sudden urge to throw up.
Katsuki let his thoughts become anxious, but kept a straight face not, wanting to scare his sick boyfriend away. Izuku happily climbed into Katsuki's lap, wrapping his legs around the male's torso, as well as his arms. Katsuki took in a long breath, wanting to get as much of Izuku's sent into his system as possible. Katsuki calmed himself, remembering their short time together and, it shouldn't be spent worrying.

Sunday.
Izuku had been admitted into the hospital, Katsuki was anxiously bouncing his leg, wanting to leave class and see his boyfriend already. The last bell rang and, Katsuki rushed out of the classroom, not bothering to tell anyone anything about where he was going. He hated being in temporary classes still.
Katsuki already had a bag packed full of snacks and games for Izuku. The blonde wiped open his car door, turning the key in the ignition, waiting for the car to start. As soon as he heard the soft hum of the engine, he was off.
The car ride consisted of Katsuki cursing at people speeding and running red lights. As soon as the hospital was in sight, Katsuki slowed the car and found a spot to park. He walked inside and politely asked the receptionist where Izuku's room was. He quickly bowed and thanked her, heading toward his boyfriend's place.
Katsuki took a deep breath and opened the door, revealing his Auntie Inko and his boyfriend. Inko smiled and hopped from her chair, practically tackling Katsuki with her bear hug.
"It's good to see you, Kat," Inko smiled as she looked at the matured blonde male.
"You to Auntie," Katsuki said, hugging her back.
The two hugged for a minute before pulling away, Inko happily waddling to her chair, Katsuki following, pecking his boyfriend's lips before sitting in a vacant chair.
The three talked for a while, Izuku and Katsuki's fingers intertwined at some point or another. The two happily chatted with Inko until visiting time was over. Inko excused herself, not before giving each boy a hug and kiss on the forehead.
Katsuki knew Izuku told the nurses about him staying the night, so he didn't have to worry too much. The realization dawned on Katsuki that this would be one of the last times he would hold Izuku.
Katsuki hoped into the small hospital bed, holding Izuku close to him. Izuku giggles quietly, his eyes flickering up to Katsuki's.
"Kat~," Izuku whined. "You don't have to hold me so tight."
Katsuki hummed, giving Izuku a firm squeeze before releasing his death grip. Izuku hummed in approval, rolling away from his boyfriend so they could both sleep comfortably. Katsuki shoved his face in between Izuku's neck and shoulder, loving the natural scent coming from him. Izuku's gentle snores calmed Katsuki, who was slowly falling asleep.

Monday.
Katsuki awoke to the soft glow of sunlight dripping into the room from the open curtain. Katsuki slowly sat up, observing his surroundings. He remembered he was in the hospital panicking for a brief moment, before spotting the greenette who was still asleep next to him.
Izuku's soft snores still filled once quiet void Katsuki was stuck in. The effortless breeze flowing gently into the room caused Izuku's hair to naturally flow.
Katsuki took his time admiring his boyfriend. He'd never realized how beautiful Izuku was. The curvature of the male's face, causing it to look childlike, but also handsome at the same time.
Izuku's eyes slowly fluttered open, revealing his boyfriend, staring intently at him. Izuku blinked a couple times before sitting up. He casually waved his hand in front of Katsuki's face.
"Kat, are you okay?" Izuku jokingly asked.
"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" Katsuki asked, his crimson eyes softening, as his hand reached for his mates face, Izuku happily expecting the affection. "I don't know if I released it before or maybe I just ignored it but... You are so handsome, stunning even. I can't think of anything else to say, you're beauty is priceless."
Izuku let a small tear escape his left eye, the tear ran down his face and fatefully hit the blanket. More soon, follow as Izuku happy cried. For once, he was genuinely delighted. If only it could last.
"Thanks, Kat, that really means a lot," Izuku sputtered between soft sobs.
Katsuki cupped his mates face, running his thumbs over the others cheek, before going in and kissing him gently. The kiss didn't last long, but it allowed the two to fully express themselves. Katsuki pulled away first, admiring his boyfriend once more, laying his head on Izuku's shoulder.
"No problem, nerd."

Wednesday.
Katsuki somehow convinced Azowia to let him stay with Izuku for the week. Azowia was one of the few people who understood the situation and wasn't going to force his student into class. It was a review week and, Aizowia knew Katsuki would mourn for a while and then get back on his feet.
Katsuki and Izuku were chatting, while covered up in the hospital's thin blankets. Izuku huddled close to Katsuki, who was a human radiator, compared to the smaller freezing male.
Katsuki smirked to himself and wrapped his arms around Izuku, comforting himself. Katsuki held in the tears that were begging to escape. He wasn't going to cry in front of his boyfriend again, no, he promised himself he wouldn't.
Izuku felt Katsuki's arm muscles tense gently. His green eyes looked up, meeting a pair of crimson ones. The crimson set quickly darted away from the greenette's gaze, casing Izuku to use his voice.
"Kat, what's up? Why are you acting weird?"
"No reason."
"So you admit it. You are acting weird, what's wrong?" Izuku pushed, wanting his boyfriend to be comfortable and secure before he passed.
Katsuki looked down into the simmering green eyes he loved so damn much. He anxiously bit his lip, not wanting to announce his truths to his boyfriend yet. Izuku cocked an eyebrow at his boyfriend, just wanting to know the truth.
Katsuki sighed," It's nothing, I'm just gonna miss you and, I wish I wasn't such an idiot. If I had realized beforehand, we could have been together longer-"
Katsuki was stoped by his boyfriend pressing his lips to Katsuki's. Katsuki closed his eyes and let his boyfriend lead. Izuku pulled away, his face revealing sass as he began to speak.
"Kat, it's alright. Try not to think about it. Don't think about the future, enjoy what you have now, or you'll regret it."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's really been a year. Huh. I never thought I'd make it this long without you, Izuku. I'd give my life for yours at this point but, I know you wouldn't want that. Katsuki's thoughts dwindled as he entered the graveyard. He slowly made his way to his boyfriend's grave, squeezing the fresh bouquet.
Katsuki sat at Izuku's grave holding, the fresh flowers he brought. He did it for every anniversary and came at least once a week.
Katsuki laid the flowers down and looked up tot he sky hoping his one true love could hear him. Hey Zuku, I miss you. I hope you're doing well, I know I'm not. I've been missing you, as I usually am. I love you and whatever, I wish you come back to me nerd. Tears were welling up in his eyes as he talked.
Izuku's soul sat next to him, listening and crying as well. Izuku looked over his love, letting out a loud sob. Katsuki whipped his toward Izuku, blinking softly. Izuku waved, hoping his mate could see him. Katsuki cocked his head in confusion as a wave of air flushed his face.
"Zuku?" Katsuki choked, his hands griping the fancy pants he was wearing.
"Kacchan, I love you," Izuku whispered, feeling the light engulf him, taking him back into the clouds where he belonged.
Katsuki looked into the sky, a sudden calmness falling over the man. Katsuki rose from his place on the ground and started his long walk back to his apartment, his avenging of Izuku even more apparent.
