Chapter 6: Monster Hunter and testing out magic
After I returned to my camp site I decided to not waste any time and get on the road as soon as possible. After extinguishing the fire and resting for a brief moment, I set off on to the road.
Well at least I would of if there were any roads.
I opened up my Hologram Map and entered the location: The City of Orario.
After some loading up and waiting, the system had planned a path for me.
It was safe and quick... And that was the problem.
It was safe.
I needed to kill monsters to finish the Quest.
So instead of Orario I changed the Location to Goblin lair.
This did not work as the closes one was days away in the opposite direction of Orario.
So so tried to find a different monster group.
I entered: Kobold Lair into the map, and fortunately there was one close by.
It location was near the clearing, just a few hours west of there.
So I set off and headed towards the monster lair.

After hours of walking, I had arrived.
The Kobolds had made their home in a significantly smaller clearing west of the big one.
I could see about seven Kobolds, more than enough to fulfil the quest conditions.
Some ere waxing sticks around at each other while what I can only assume as a female kobold watching over a small kobold child.
At first, this was a little weird for me, seeing a baby Kobold, but hen I remember that monsters up on the surface had to use the power of their magic cores to reproduce, so I put it aside and summoned out two of my Shadow Wolves and sent them in as I dashed around slicing a few up my self.
I had tried to keep the fight short and quick.
As to not draw any attention to this place, so more wolves or even more Kobolds came.
Kobolds were generally very weak, but made up for it with their speed and numbers, luckily I had two of my Shadow Wolves with me so it wasn't a problem.
And as I was going to use my (Shadow Thief) on the kobolds that I and the wolves had killed I had remembered that I was at my limit, I summoned back my Wolves, collected the pea sized Magic Cores and was about to leave, when suddenly a Kobold had come running out of the bushes and attacked me.
In a first ditch effort not to get bitten, I raised my hand and shouted "Shadow Bolt!"
A large dark aura was emmited from my hand, I could feel something leak out of my arm as a small ball of pure darkness shot out of my hand as fast as lighting and struck the Kobold in the head, killing it.
I breath heavily and felt my body grow tired.
"so this is what magic is like... Cool"
I slumped against a tree and took a small break, letting my mana recharge and my fatigue disappear.
After it had, I jumped up and started to make my way toward Orario.
Adventures awaited and I needed to get going.
(A/N: sorry I've been away for a few days, my mother went into hospital for surgery and I've been too worried to write.
