Chapter 78: Her Roles and Her Names

Flopping down her bed, Shizuka excitedly set out her Mophorix Layers in front of her and started typing her club members' names while humming a random song in her playlist. Her Aelleos Headset was glowing brightly, a wave of sound was reflected as a moving wave on the surface of it.

An "Aelleos Headset" is a magic tool made from the Aelleoses' tears. Aelleos Birds could be found migrating to the north each year, their tears were said to produce sounds, which people called as the "Siren's Song."

Of course, that was a whole other thing. It was just a myth and a name. But, the tears did make sounds appear when an electric current ran through it. Mages and inventors worked together for the first time in centuries-- to create a tool that everybody could use.
