The Witch

Alse Young was a most unfortunate witch who lived with her elderly husband in Hartford Connecticut when it was merely a large village in a small English colony. Little schooled in witchcraft, Alse mostly made minor healing potions and poultices for her family and friends. She lived an uneventful and impoverished life until she became victim of an incubus who came to her at night as she slept.

Initially, she believed his nocturnal visits were nothing more than terrifying sexual nightmares. Yet over time as the incubus returned again and again, she came to realize that the handsome seductive man of her dreams was actually a hideous daemon forcing himself upon her when she could not resist.
