Chapter 110: A husband's duty

A clock ticked by.

For Kyoya, it was insensible as he couldn't really tell how much time had passed. The sunrays were still here, but there was something within him, suggesting that he slept for a long time.

His wife was also sleeping, but Kyoya believed that Xaya didn't really have anything else to do in this new place. It was a place with many dangerous opponents for her with the sealed strength.

That's why, when Kyoya felt her clenching his clothes tightly, his hands wrapped tighter around her body. He felt healed already, and so the usual strength of the husband came back!

This hug lasted for an insensible amount of time yet again.

And then, Kyoya finally noticed Xaya's face.

Her cheeks were still wet from tears that went unnoticed during the night for everyone in the house. Even as she slept, her lips were bitten, so Kyoya instantly realized that her tight hug was not the usual cuddling Xaya loved.
