Alice ejected a burst of flames from her back, propelling her forward to meet Nimrod…

It was the most brutal Zeel had ever seen Alice, and admittedly, he was a bit proud of it…
"ARRRGHHH!" Nimrod squealed in pain, wiggling out of Alice's grip, and spinning to reverse their positions…
Zeel had dashed forward, intent on delivering a blow to Nimrod's head when Nimrod and Alice abruptly switched positions…
Nimrod thought it was the perfect maneuver to get Zeel to reconsider attacking him, but clearly, he had underestimated Zeel's resolve…
Without hesitation, Zeel punched Alice in the head, sending her head snapping backward into Nimrod's head…
However, Alice expected such a move from Zeel, so she used Nimrod's shock to perform a leg grip, tossing Nimrod in Ella's and Alle's direction…
Ella and Alle morphed into Sword Rings, blazing past Nimrod as his arms were detached from his body…
Alice caught the Sword Rings and leaped at Nimrod for another attack, but Zeel noticed something amiss…
Zeel leaped into the air, cradling Alice into his embrace…
The long-dormant Cyber-lines in Zeel's hands lit up, clumping nearby air particles together to form a barrier…
Cyber-lines only appeared on an adult Homo-Superior when they were pushing their abilities to the limits, and with little to no nanites left in his body, Zeel had no choice…
The moment Nimrod's detached arms touched the blackened sand…

An explosion rang aloud, tossing Zeel and Alice through the skies until their untimely collision with the ground…
Still, the moment Zeel and Alice touched the ground, Nimrod, who had somehow regrown his arms, attacked the once more…
Zeel instinctively spun his body, placing Alice below him as Nimrod delivered two strong blows to his back…
Usually, Zeel would criticize himself for protecting someone other than himself, but at this point, protecting Alice just seemed natural to him…
Knowing that he didn't possess enough strength to truly harm Zeel, Nimrod changed his attack strategy, switching to a completely different form of combat…
Instead of delivering punches, Nimrod used his knowledge of Homo-Superior physiology to target key Cyber-Line transmission points in Zeel's body…
Nimrod managed to deactivate two key points of Zeel's Cyber-Line structure before the Sword Rings shot out of the sand and sliced off both of his feet…
Ella and Alle, in their Sword Ring forms, were capable of slicing through anything, even the ground…
But as soon as Nimrod lost his feet, the blackened sands of the desert regenerated his libs once more…
Zeel leaped to his feet, sending two quick kicks at Nimrod, but the kicks were blocked with relative ease…
Nimrod was just about to retaliate when Zeel also switched his combat style, going for a more precision-based style instead of his usual maximum-damage style…

Alice retrieved the Sword Rings and leaped into battle …
Zeel and Nimrod kept each other at bay, leaving Alice a few key opportunities where she could disrupt Nimrod's rhythm, giving Zeel a chance to land a blow or land a blow herself…
However, Alice misjudged the timing of an attack, causing Nimrod to get a straight blow at her head, but Zeel placed himself in front of the blow knowing Alice could not withstand it…
Nimrod's blows were lethal to humans, and even as a God, Alice's Divine Cloud would normally concentrate at the location of her heart…

The newly awakened Aurolana glanced around in confusion, not knowing why her body moved on instinct to protect Zeel, but it just did…
Even with her mind in jumbles, Aurolana could still tell that Zeel was the most important thing in the world to her…
Aurolana tossed Nimrod's head away, and then she placed a foot on Zeel's chest…
"Who are you?" She questioned, not remembering much of anything…
Alice rose to her feet, attempting to remove Aurolana's foot from Zeel's chest, but a quick gesture from Zeel told her everything was fine…
However, everything was not fine, Zeel just didn't want Aurolana to perceive Alice as a threat...
"Turn around!" Zeel commanded, using their soulmate bond to enforce his will so Aurolana could not refuse…
Usually, he would have tried a gentler method, but he knew Nimrod was far from finished…
Aurolana was confused but her body listened instinctively, turning around as Zeel got to his feet and examined the position of her wings…
Her wings were beautifully white, and pure, radiating endless grace that would force anyone to bow in reverence…
However, Aurolana's wings were also now incredibly smile, barely a couple feet…
Apollonian Wings were like a Homo-Superior's Brain, and right now, Aurolana's wings were telling Zeel that her mind was in shambles…
"Fuck…" Zeel cursed, brushing his fingers through the feathers of Aurolana's wings "Your wings were damaged during the process save your life… your memories will return as your wings grow back but until then, you will have bouts of confusion."
"Aren't Apollonian Wings supposed to be infinite?" Alice inquired, placing the Sword Rings on her back…
"Yes… that means she forgot almost everything…" Zeel explained, brushing his fingers through Aurolana's shrunken wings once more, causing her to shudder in pleasure…
The good thing about soulmates was the fact that even if Aurolana was reduced to a spec of her original self, as long as Zeel was alive, she could find temporary shelter in his soul world…
Sadly, Lorien currently resided at that location, so Zeel was forced to find another way to help Aurolana…
While Zeel was indulged in the sensation of running his fingers through Aurolana's wings, Alice burst into flames and flashed in front of Aurolana, projecting a shield of flames that stopped a sudden attack from Nimrod…
Nimrod's neck had separated from his body, but as long as they fought on blackened sand, Zeel knew that there was no defeating Nimrod…
It was probably some leftover ability from Seth's defeat…
After all, Seth was like an incarnation of Nimrod, just much stronger than the original…
Aurolana perceived the danger Nimrod posed, and stomped the ground aggressively, channeling her nothingness into the blackened sand, wanting to destroy everything in sight…
However, while this should have usually been possible for someone of her strength and talent, that was no longer the case now that she was bonded to a new, weaker body…
The nothingness that spread from Aurolana's feet, shot back into her body with a vengeance, knocking her unconscious in the process…
With his soulmate experiencing pain, Zeel felt the pain amplify due to their proximity, hindering him from saving Alice…
Nimrod pierced through Alice's Shield of flames, and grabbed her by the wrist, twisting until the crack of a broken arm was heard…
Ella and Alle went wild…
Their Draconic Energies flared as they manifested in their mature forms, slamming Nimrod into the ground with all their might…
A huge crater formed in the sand…
"AAAAARGGGGGGGG!" Alice squealed in pain, and Zeel slid into the crater, locking his arms around Nimrod as his nanites transferred his plan into Alice's mind.
Even as Nimrod pounded his back to let go, Zeel held on, gesturing for Alice to come to him…
Codes flickered in Alice's eyes as she punched the coordinates into her Mbeamer, and dashed in Zeel's direction…
Ella and Alle set aside their anger for a moment to retrieve Aurolana, and they similarly flew towards Zeel…
The moment Alice was within a ten feet range of Zeel, the coordinate in her Mbeamer flashed black and everyone felt a dizzying sensation…
"NNNOOOOO!" Nimrod yelled, attempting to get away but Zeel held him firmly…
---BBBRRRRRTTTTT---
With a flash of light, Ella, Alle, Zeel, Aurolana, and Alice were gone from The Mummy Universe…
