"Calder!" Syria shouted over and over again until Calder's eyelashes fluttered. "S-S-S...." Calder mumbled incoherently. "Sit up and drink." Syria said with a sigh of relief. Calder placed a hand on to the bed and tried to push himself up but his body felt heavy and weak. "I," He started to say but saw the worry on Syria's face. He swallowed back his words and tried again.
Syria looked at the cup of water then Calder. She bit her lip, her eyes flashed with a bright light before she moved the cup to her lips. Calder was captivated by her actions and watched as she chugged back water as quickly as she could. She was desperately trying to collect the liquid but it spilled out of the sides of the cup and down the edges of her mouth, flowing down her chin and into the giant gap of her robe.
