Chapter 60: The Honeymoon

She entered the honeymoon suite with quick but careful steps. The sound of her heels colliding with the marble floor and her own harsh breathing is the only sound her ears could hear amidst the deafening silence of the room. Zachary Benedict followed behind her, his hand protectively clung to the curves of her waist.

She was forced to leave the comforting warmth of his hands when she needed to duck on her feet to unfasten the lock of her high-heeled stiletto. After taking her shoes off she placed the pair of her shoe under the shoe rack near the door. She sighed contentedly when her foot sunk into the squashy,  soft texture of the woolen carpet.
