Rex was a man who acted swiftly and decisively. That very afternoon, he took Fang Zheng and Nymph out of the Sanctuary and through the Mage's Teleportation Array to a somewhat dilapidated Mage Tower.
"Starting today, you two will live here," he said.
Although the room in front of them looked somewhat shabby, it was at least clean. Rex clearly didn't care much about these "trivial matters." Satisfied, he clapped his hands and then pulled out a book almost as thick as a Lexicon and tossed it in front of Fang Zheng.
"Read this first, and after you're done, begin practicing. How much you learn depends on your own fortune. If you have any questions, come find me upstairs. But remember, if there's a sign hanging on my door, don't you dare come in. If you get turned into a charred corpse, it's your own bad luck, and no one will care!"
Having said this, Rex turned and left, leaving Fang Zheng and Nymph behind without a second thought.
