Chapter 140: Saxophone

"Ahem," Edilberto Astares clears his throat after standing in front of the podium with countless cameras facing him and a few fifty guests mixed with the organizers.

Belen was nervously sitting in the back waiting room while listening to her dad's speech as she began assembling her alto saxophone. 

Everest was keeping an eye on Belen as Noah was out in the crowd with the top organizers of the event, making sure everything was for Belen's performance.

"Your eyes might pop out if you continue to stare that hard" Belen faintly smiles at Everest with sad eyes at the realization that his shinning puppy-like eyes are brimming with curiosity towards her saxophone.

"S-Sorry…" Everest shyly turns away to look out into the hallway, "it's my first time seeing this side of you…" his voice lowers, "it's pretty damn attractive."
