Chapter 2: chap 2
THE FEELINGS WERE AN ILLUSION
As soon as chris Wu used to come in ivy's visual field, ivy's heart beat used to get abnormally fast. And it wasn't just with ivy… actually Chris Wu and his gang were the campus crush. And among his whole gang he was the most famous of all. So there he was now standing in front of Ivy and Li-Ang staring right into Ivy's eyes as if searching something…. Then Li-Ang coughed a little and said that she had something important to do and left. Ivy tried to stop her because now she was getting nervous, but Li-Ang had already left.
Chris didn't care about Li-Ang leaving… then in his hoarse male voice he asked Ivy " sooooo… how are you?"
Ivy a bit nervously said " fine"
And then there was a little pause. Ivy felt that she shouln't have given such a short answer and was now regretting, but the silence didn't last long.
Chris broke the silence and said " actually I wanted a bit of your help regarding my mathematics. And as far as I know you are pretty good at it. So I was wandering if you could spare a little time for me in the evening, we can meet at my dad's restaurant. Hope you don't have any boyfriend… so you can spare some time for me"
Hearing the word of boyfriend Ivy instantaneously said" no no no… I don't have any boyfriend, I would be free this evening"
At such a brisk response Chris furrowed his eyes and looked deeply at Ivy's face as if he didn't expect that..
And now Ivy was again regretting on her actions….
" okay, then I'll meet you up at the restaurant at 5, bye"
And then he left with a smile on his face…..
It was only after he left that Ivy found her heartbeat normalizing a bit.
After going from there Chris met his friends standing outside the classroom talking and laughing. Chris went towards them and said "okay so I won the bet….now you guys are going to do all of my summer task"
"did she really agree to go on a date with you?" his friends exclaimed in a state of disbelief.
"YESS" Chris replied.
