It was a day like any other, the second shinobi war was still ongoing, as a little girl called Rin had to watch her comrade Obito die, she recalled his clumsiness, his determination to become hokage and his goofy smile. She couldn't stop her tears, she only snapped out of it after hearing the smug voice of the remaining iwa ninja. While Kakashi engaged the enemy, Rin noticed a black mass hovering in front of her. Cautious she backed of a few steps and assumed a combat stance. After a few seconds with nothing changing, she hesitantly tried to grab it, only for a sudden flash of light to blind her, thinking it as a attack, she jumped backwards. After she regained her vision she notice that the black mess seemed to have disappeared. Looking around for it, or any potential enemy, she only stopped when Kakashi appeared in front of her. Concerned of the sudden flash of light, asking her if she's okay.
Rin: I'm fine Kakashi, it didn't seem to have been an attack.
Kakashi: Then what was it? Did you see the source of the light?
Thinking about it, she decided that it would be probably better to inform Kakashi and Minato sensei about the black thing. Just when she wanted to mention it, she suddenly heard a small whisper.
???: *Don't tell them about me. I'm not a threat and certainly not interested in becoming a science project*.
Surprised by the voice, that seemingly originated from her head, Rin closed her mouth.
Kakashi not noticing, decided that this was not important right now. They have to leave. Just when he came to that conclusion, more iwa ninja appeared.
Kakashi, already low on chakra, once more had to use chidori. After Kakashi fought for another 5 minutes, just as he ran out of chakra and lost consciousness. Minato finally reached them, quickly finishing off the remaining enemy's. After he picked the unconscious Kakashi and Rin up, Rin told him during the way back how Obito died, how he tried to save her and sacrificed himself for her and Kakashi.
Hearing her story Minato couldn't help, but blame himself that he didn't make it in time. After leaving the enemy territory, the team took a break. While Minato watched over the still unconscious Kakashi, Rin tried to communicate with the voice in her head.
Rin: *Hello?*
???: *Sup*
Rin: *Sup?*
???: *Nevermind that, can I help you or are you just trying to make me react?*
Rin: *Who are you? And what are you doing in my head?*
???: *Well now that is a funny story, you see apparently I'm a black blob. And when you touched me I sorta...got absorbed? You may call me Bob, seems like a fitting new name for me, you know, cause I'm a F**CKING BLOB. And before you ask no, I wasnt' always a blob, maybe I took an arrow to the knee or something...*
Rin: *Okay...so Bob why are you here?*
Bob: *No clue, just heard something, like sobbing? Felt lot's of regret from a light that seemed to engulf me and here I was, sorta just hovering in front of you.*
Rin: *So I summoned you?*
Bob: *Yup, but you do not get 3 wishes*
Rin: *Wishes?*
Bob: *Nevermind that, so what do you regret little girl?*
Rin: *Little girl? If you hadn't noticed my love just died.*
Bob: *You mean the black haired guy? He's alive though*
Rin: Wait what?
Minato: Rin? What's wrong?
Rin: Oh nothing Sensei, when will Kakashi wake up?
Minato: He already woke up.
Rin: Oh...
Rin slightly blushing at her blunder, while she heard Bob laughing in her mind.
She still quickly got serious after thinking why she loudly exclaimed
Rin: *But I'm a medic ninja in training, he was stuck under a rock, half his body was crushed, how is he suppose to be alive?*
Bob: *Plot armor*
Rin: *Could you speak in a language that I understand?*
Bob: *Boring, but sure. While the boy was busy making a metal drama reality and you just stood there, basically AFK, a weird white skinned guy took him and seemed to have stop the bleeding.*
Rin: *Nani?*

P. S. You have the right to complain about my grammar or details or anything else. But Bob will stay determined.
