{Suddenly, Michael's flashback ended when Kathy said, "What are you standing around for?"}
Michael faced the young girl and replied, "Making sure you brush your teeth. Cheeky brat."
Kathy pouted and walked back into the restroom.
After dealing with Kathy, Michael walked downstairs and prepared a meal for himself and Kathy before his mother called.
(Mom?)
Michael gazed at his old phone and took a deep breath.
"Mom, what's up?"
"Did you prepare a meal for Kathy?"
"Yes, I made some steak and eggs; she should be done with her girl stuff soon."
"Michael! Nevermind, you have a point, she takes way too long with all her makeup issues."
"Aren't you going to tell her that makeup is bad for her?"
"Do you honestly think I can engage in that battle while I am in Europe?"
"True, what's up?"
"Just wanted check in and made sure you woke up and fed Kathy."
Michael giggled and said, "She's not a dog, at worst, she will eat some junk food, anyway I gotta prepare for the game."
"Wait, Michael! When did you learn to cook!"
(Shit!)
After hesitating for a moment, Michael explained, "YouTube."
"Send me a picture before you devour it."
"Mom, its steak not chicken."
"Shut up and do it."
Michael sighed and sent her a photo. Little did Michael know; his actions made a woman cry on the other side of the world.
Once he prepared food, Michael looked for Kathy, who caked herself in paint. (Is this a fad, or is she an idiot? Either way, I won't allow my sister to run around like this.)
(Wait a second, is she even my sister? Perhaps it's best not to get attached?)
Michael shook his head and said, "Kathy, clean your face and go downstairs; your food is ready."
"But, Michael! I look good!"
Kathy's makeup was application was so poor that Michael ignored his earlier issues and said, "Yes, your clown impersonation is well done, now clean it up and eat."
Kathy gazed at Michael and said, "I hate you."
Michael stuck out his tongue and said, "I love you too."
After more bickering, Kathy removed her makeup and reheated the food Michael prepared while he headed toward the park with his friend.
While walking toward a park, Michael bounced the ball around. (Hmm, why am I able to control the ball so casually?)
His friend, Dillan, stared at Michael who held a spinning ball on his finger.
Dillan commend, "Show off, when did you learn that?"
Michael smiled while wondering the same thing and said, "Natural talent."
(Time travel and now telekineses? I hope this does not become like a web novel. I am not a fan of cultivation, if that is the case, I will stick to basketball.)
As the duo arrived at the park, Michael said, "I won't miss today."
Dillan replied, "You constantly say that."
Michael took a three and said, "Splash."
