Chapter 5: The Talk
Well this isn't awkward. We all look at each other with the same weirded out expression and bust out laughing, " Damm, Claire's got game." RM says to the group jokingly "Well you asked for my cooperation and help so that's what you get." I say shrugging it off. "Thank you I really appreciate it." Jin says sincerely. "Don't worry about it but after lunch I think we need to set up some ground rules here so things don't get weird." "Good idea." Jin agrees.
After lunch we all go back to the boys dorm and make up a list of rules that need to be put in place for this to work. Rule no.1 Don't date anyone else while in said fake relationship. This will prevent any misunderstandings with real partners and make things run much smoother. Rule no.2 don't do anything that makes the other person feel uncomfortable. Rule no.3 Have a solid backstory. Rule no.4 fake relationship lasts maximum up to a month. The list goes on. We signed off on the rules and shook hands let's fool these suckers.
In the evening, at the interview - "So boys your here to promote your new album that will be released next week, tell us all about it." It was a pretty basic interview nothing to personal or hard hitting was asked until she said. "You guys are getting older now are any of you dating or thinking about starting a family?" Okay let's see what they say. " Well as you know almost all of us have recently finished our two years in the army so we haven't really had time to date as we are now working on the comeback album." Nice diversion RM your good at this.
"Ah I see so none of you have anyone special?" She just won't let this go will she. " We'll notify you if we do." RM says jokingly. " You heard it here first the boys are single and ready to mingle. Army are you ready for the boys comeback? Because we are." They wrapped up the show and the boys changed.
In the car on the way back, "Oh Claire I forgot to mention that our manager will be back tonight so you'll meet him at the company tomorrow." RM informed me "Okay thanks for letting me know." I say while pulling up at their dorm. "Well I'll see you all tomorrow then." " Bye Claire." They say in unison.
*Phone rings* "Hello?" "Hey it's Lily I was wondering if you wanted to come to the cinema with me tonight?" "Yeah sounds good send me the location and I'll meet you there."
At the cinema "There you are Claire, come on its about to start." " Wait hold on a minute, isn't that your brother over there?" I look over and see him talking with another boy. "Daniel what are you doing here?" Lily was confused "I thought you didn't want to see the movie?" " I didn't want to just come with you so I brought a friend to make it less embarrassing." He explained.
What actually happened was that after he refused to go he heard his sister inviting me and asked his friend to come as cover. In the screening room "Why don't we all sit together?" he said pulling me into the seat next to him. "Sure." I politely agree. During the movie Daniel kept acting weird and tried to put his arm around me but stopped the minute I looked over at him. What's with him I thought to myself he's being strange.
After the movie finished we got up to leave when I dropped my phone. I went to pick it up but Daniel was quicker "Here." "Thanks." He's a nice guy I thought. We all went our separate ways after as it was late and I needed to meet the guys early the next morning.
7am - the company. We were about to walk into their managers office when I stopped "Hey guys what are we gonna tell him about the whole dating situation." ..... *all faces are hit with realisation* "Shoot we didn't think about that!" Suga says worried. "We'll just tell him." RM says unbothered "If we tell him the full story I think he won't be too mad." Is this guy sure this is going to work cause if it doesn't and I get an earful he won't get off easy either.
"Fine let's meet your manager then." I say knocking the door. "Come in." A deep voice says from the other side. We walk in and I introduce myself to him, I look at him and realise this guy is quite tall and a little scary looking, best keep on his good side I think before the boys pipe up "so here's what you've missed..." they fill him in on everything and I mean everything including the fake relationship well we're doomed as he looks like he's about to blow.
