Chapter 1: 1- Intense fever
-Inside of a glorious mansion's garden-
A young maiden's joyful laughter could be heard.
"Hahaha! Hurry up, Shou Li ! Or you won't ever be able to catch me ~"
"Young Miss, please slow down. This servant can't keep up!" Said Shou Li, her face flushed from chasing her lady.
"Pfft- is that really all you're made of, Shou Li? Then this lady won't bother waiting for you." said Wu Rong.
"CAREFUL-" shouted Shou Li, but alas, she was too late.
'Plop'
The sound of something falling into the lake could be heard.
"My lady- HELP! My lady fell into the Lake! Anyone, save my lady!" Screamed Shou Li, her face full of dread.
-In a study room-
"WHAT ? D-did you j-just say Rong'er fell into the lake ?!" Said a middle aged man, his voice in a stutter. Right after that, the only one left in the room was the servant who delivered the news, his master having long ran out to check on his daughter.
"Hurry! Call a doctor, our young miss is running a high fever!"
'BANG!'
The sound of the door being slammed open interrupted the room, a middle aged man entered, followed by 2 males.
The middle aged man ran to his daughter's side, checked her temperature, then shouted furiously " Tell me exactly what happened! Your young miss fell into the lake and now developed an intense fever! What is even the use of you all ?!"
"Calm down, father. What's most important right now is to find a doctor!" Said the older of the two brothers in a calm voice, but his face betrayed his worry.
"Yeah father, Rong'er is the most important! Don't worry, I'm going to get to the bottom of this!" Said the younger brother.
"You! Tell me all that transpired for this to happen!" Said Song Tu Hao.
Trembling, the servant told his master all the events concerning the incident.
