The Swann Twenty lagged behind the main force until reaching Castle Darry
Castle Darry is a small old castle with only 12 large windows for archer and no outer walls, its positioned on a hill and field with a mountain to its rear which the rising sun is peeking through
Outside the castle is what appears to be a sea of flattened red tents with thousands of Lannister soldiers standing above them with weapons drawn but those aren't only tents but corpses of dead Bolton men
Ryker -" Archers focus on the enemies outside, stop when I give the signal which is an open hand "
Ryker-"Calvery split into two columns and close in on the survivors from the volleys , once on the battlefield keep straight and circle back around until the enemy is crushed "
Ryker-"lord gulian, charge in and draw the attention from the enemy archers , if possible break down the castle doors down"
The old man nodded and charged while the archers began volleying arrows down
The Lannisters held formation even though they were receiving heavy fire from above and had enemies approaching
Ryker made a fist and the cavalry moved into motion
Quickly closing in on the enemies flanks but encountered flank trenches
Ryker -"we need to charge or else we'll lose them, who's with me!"
Ryker sheathed his second sword and remounted his horse and quickly approached
Ryker-" Gulian head to the door we'll meet you there"
A red-haired soldier raised his spear stabbing Ryker's horse causing him to leap to the ground and have to regain balance
The red-haired soldier unsheathed his sword and slashed at Ryker's neck but was parried
Ryker dragged his sword down the soldier's until he reached his wrist bypassing his crossguard, Ryker yanked his sword back which removed the brave fool's hand then placed the blade against his neck and pulled creating a crimson fountain that covered his once spotless armor in thick slimy gore
Ryker stopped to observe his chaotic surroundings and noticed that his archers were still sending arrows nearby so he violently waved his arms at the archers and pointed his sword towards the castle windows
The Archers redirected fire towards the windows making it safer to advance
Edric wasn't large enough to take down any soldiers so he shadowed Tom across the battlefield violently smashing the enemy's legs while Tom did the heavy fighting
The field is littered with gore, blood and abandoned swords. Red, black and brown are the new colors of what was once a tranquil, grassy hill, which has now become the stage of a terrible battle.
The air which would normally carry the sounds of birds, small rivers and nature's wildlife is now a hellish symphony of screams and crying, the intense violence of it would make you want to run.
it's clear who will win. The wounded of the losing side are abundant and lay in heaps around the field and the faces of the fighters are grim with agony and strain, they want to give up, but somehow keep fighting.
With victory becoming more and more likely the Stormlanders push harder and harder on their enemies. Some have succumbed to terror and are no longer capable of moving, making them easier to slaughter
The toll on both nature and humanity is enormous. It'll likely take decades before this field and hill will have recovered completely. It's clear bodies, blood and gore have taken the place of shrubs, grass, and bushes.
