"Stop being such a bitch and get over here..." Chunhua's step mother yelled at her in dismay as her eyebrows furrowed, annoyed. "You're going to your new school whether you like it or not." Mrs Zhang, her step mother growled with her eyes narrowed strictly and straightly at her. "Throwing a tantrum... geez you're already 18. Go get a job, you menace!"
Chunhua rolled her eyes and glared at her, annoyed as her half brother came in, ruffling Chunhua's hair. "Hey! Don't be so mean to her, it's probably that time of the month." Bojing let out a teasing laugh at Chunhua as she kicked his shin annoyed, her left eye twitching.
"Shut up Bojing!" She yelled at him, pushing the crystal white plate that was in front of her away. She grabbed an apple, the color a beautiful red and took a big bite out of it. "I'm going to school..." She mumbled as she slung the bookbag that sat on the chair in the dining room they had. Chunhua's family wasn't poor, but they weren't rich either. They were a mediocore family with normal problems, whether it be with money or with their children. Afterall, having three children and one irregular out of it always caused problems.
Her brother laughed, before becoming serious, his face muscles tensed as he remember what he saw on the news the night before. "Hey, Chunhua, come back real quick." Bojing said as he pursed his lips, taking a seat on the beautiful couch they were gifted from Chunhua's grandparents.
"What now?" She grumbled, stomping back.
"Be careful out there... I've heard from several news stations last night about some um... bad things happening around our area, its close by and I don't think its safe for a young woman to go out on her own." Chunhua's relationship with her brother wasn't great, so she immediately doubted him. Although it seemed as if the two were just coy and playful siblings, it wasn't. There was more than what meets the naked eye.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and headed out, glancing back at them, a slight skimp of worry as she walked the streets of Bejing. Her high school was quite far away from her house, a twenty-five minute walk to the bus stop, so she'd leave earlier than usual.
"Tick Tock Tick Tock." The boy beside her whispered. His hood was above his head as he repeated the words. She had already arrived at her High School, BCUA. As all the seats were taken in her first class of the day, she was forced to sit next to the strange boy who always had a hood on. Similarly, always a red one, the rumors would say. Chunhua shuddered as he continued.
"Chunhua is it?" The boy said as he chomped on his fingers, licking them, sucking them before drawing circles on her thigh. She gasped and removed his hand, disgusted.
He continued to do disruptive things to her before she lost her cool and screamed in dissatisfaction. "Stop! Stop! Please stop!"
Everyone around her could tell why she freaked out. The boy next to her never showed his face, and more importantly often said and did disturbing things, yet never got in trouble. People stayed away from him, not wanting to get mixed up into relentless stupid things.
There was a day when the boy, whom had never told his name to anyone had gotten bullied by supposedly a few brave new students. The tale goes that they were reported missing the next day, and a week after that the news reported that they were found dead in a swamp near our high school.
