Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Winter Break Day 8-14
As it is the last week of winter break, Angie's mom took a couple days off to spend with her family.With it being the last week of break Angie decided that she would sleep in especially since Angie was sure that her parents would be working.As Angie continues to sleep in her little brother decided that he would come in and wake her up.Angie wasn't a heavy sleeper so she knew when her bedroom door opened up.Her brother begins to tap her but Angie chose to ignore him.
Angie Brother: Wake up!Wake up!
Angie continues to ignore.
Angie Brother: Wake up! Wake Up!
Wake Up!! Wake Up!Wake Up!
Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!
Ten Minutes later. Angie turns to finally face her bother with an annoyed look on her face.Angie was about to yell at her brother when her mom walks in with a broom at hand.Angie knew what that means so she was very careful with her next actions.
Angie Mom: What is with all the noise!Angie get up already!Do you know what time it is?It is already 11 am, what are u just gonna lay there all day?Are you a princess and have a maid to clean for you?!
Angie looks at her up.Knowing very well that her mom is already upset and that if she response to her questions it will not end well. Angie then gets up and walks to her bathroom.After taking a shower Angie heads to the living room to see her mom cleaning all to well she knows that she will be spending all day cleaning.
In Angie Mind:
Great!:( It cleaning day.... I got up for this...
As Angie begins by wiping down everything from shelves to collectibles.She eventually ends up mopping up the bathrooms and kitchen floor.Angie knowing to well that her mom will have her come to help her get the laundry any minute now as she has finished cleaning to floors.With in a good five minutes after finishing Angie hears her mom call for her from the laundry room asking her to bring the laundry up to the living room and start folding and hanging up everyone clothes.Angie spent the whole afternoon folding and cleaning there place.By the time they finished it was time for dinner.Angie and her family had an early family dinner and right after that they all decided that they would go watch a movie.Angie thought they were actually going out to watch a movie but no it was just a movie night in the living with her family.Angie didn't like doing this anymore because they have practically watched all the movies that her parents have.Both her parents are huge action movie fans so much of there DVDs they have at home are action movies and Angie has practically seen them. It was gonna be a long night for Angie.Her parents decided to put on Mission Impossible.
The next morning...
Angie woke up and found herself in the living room by herself.That can only mean she fell asleep while watching the movie.When Angie pulled out her phone to see the time, it was only 7 am. With that being said Angie family are all probably sound asleep in there rooms. Angie decided to get up and start eating breakfast and get herself all cleaned up.Angie heads to the kitchen to get herself a bowl of cereal. After about ten minutes she finishes eating and heads to her room to get some clothes that she would wear for the day.Angie got a simple baggy shirt and some skinny jeans.Once she got her clothes picked out she heads to the bathroom and takes a shower.After about 20 minutes Angie finishes getting ready and heads the living room which by the time she gets there she hears noises meaning to say that someone is now also awake.Angie heads to where the noise was coming from and that is when she found both her brother and mom making breakfast.As her mom makes breakfast Angie and her brother turned on the TV and started watching cartoons.After a little while Angie's mom tells them that breakfast was ready and they can eat.Angie tells her mom she is not hungry as she already ate.Angie continues to watch TV while everyone else ate breakfast.
Once everyone was done eating, Angie helps her mom clean up the kitchen.Once everything was cleaned up Angie mom tells her to get ready as they will be going grocery shopping today.About an hour later everyone was ready and they all head out to there car and drove to the stores.Angie thought that they were going to only one store but in the end they ended up going to 4 different stores. Apparently her stepdad and mom saw a bunch of sale on all 4 stores so since they were both off they took the family out to shop.Angie spent the whole day going from store to store.Angie honestly thought that they should be good with these groceries for the next 3 months.
The next three days...
Angie spent the next three days staying home with her brother as both her parents were working.Angie spent it by playing Xbox and Nerf guns with her brother.Angie and her brother also made brownies and cupcakes.As the sweets were baking they would continue to either play Xbox.Eventually Angie would make the decision that it is best for them to have stop playing Xbox and so the two would play a movie instead.With everything they did they usually did not notice that there parents were back because they usually watch movies with part 2.
The next two days ...
During the last two days of winter break, Angie woke up a bit late as she wanted to sleep in since she will have to be back to school.Angie notices that it was already 11 am when she woke up. After seeing the time she heads to the living room to see that her brother was watching TV.Angie asks him if he ate and he says he wants cereal.Angie was so glad that he only wanted cereal and that they have a bunch of different cereal since they just went grocery shopping.Angie makes a bowl of cereal for herself and her brother.Both sat in the living room and ate cereal while they watched cartoons together.Angie enjoyed days like these with her brother since he isn't asking for much and she gets her peace.After a while Angie decided to text her friends and see how there winter break was going. Angie gets a reply from Julia.
Angie:Hey:) How are you?
Julia:Good.How is your break going?
Angie:Good just been staying home.
Julia:I know what you mean LOL.
Did you do anything interesting?
Angie:No not really, I have just been staying home.
Julia: Oh.
Angie:Yes, I spend most days home this week since my parents work.Last week I had sleep over with Kia and also spent some time at my stepdad families house.What have you been up to?
(Last day before school starts again)
Both Julia and Angie continue to text one another to the next day as Julia did not respond back to Angie till the next morning .The next day both girls talk about how they think the new year will be.As both girls talked about what they think the new year will be to them Angie realizes that they will be having new seats in there history class.
Angie:Hey...What do you think is the chance that Mr. Chacon will have me sit next to Alec in class???
Julia: Umm...you think that is possible?
Angie:Maybe??? Omg what if he does what will I do???Help??
Julia: Relax there is no way that is possible there is over 20 something students in our class.
Angie:You think so?
Julia:Girl, I am sure that it is not possible..
There is no way that is possible.
Angie:You are probably right.Well get some rest we are gonna need it.See you tomorrow at school.
Julia:Good Night, see you tomorrow.
Angie lays in her bed and thinks about the possibility that she will sit next to Alec.With time ticking by Angie knew she needed to rest.Angie lays in bed and puts on a movie to watch so she can sleep and get her mind off the possibility that she will sit next to him.As the movie plays Angie finally convinces herself that it is a low possibility and everything will be okay.Sleep finally catches Angie and she falls asleep.Little did she know that big surprises will await her tomorrow.
