Chapter 2435: Inside

"Nero, don't!" I shouted at Nero when I saw him moving toward the door. I have warned him about doing that, but he still did not listen to me.

Just as the five of them walked inside the door, Nero also sneaked inside. 

He should not have done this; it is an extremly risky thing to do. Even though his stealth method is unparalleled, there is a high Grandmaster there. If it discovered Nero, I didn't even dare to think about the consequence.

As Nero sneaked through the door, our link went completely blank. I could not sense even the slightest thing from him, which instantly scared the shit out of me. 

Our link is quite strong and enforced with the rule-bending power that Nero is made. Some powerful formation might be able to silence the link between Ashlyn and me, will not be able to do the same with my link with Ashlyn. 

I was thinking of the worse when suddenly, the link came back, and I got a complete view of what Nero was seeing.
