It's been a few days since I've purchased my adventuring equipment, for once I thought I'm finally gonna be going out of the city walls. I was wrong.
for the past few days after I bought my equipment, I was basically stuck in the training grounds behind the city library. for a few days I had to practice the basics.
"Captain Ali! how long will I have to beat this dummy up?" I said as I wield my dagger, sometimes sliding past the training dumby's throat, while most of the times hitting it's head.
"You ingrate of an idiot!" he's voice echoed through the grounds and outside.
Captain took his long sword from the weapon's wrack, wielded it and slashed through 3 dumby's, the first one having his body cut in half from his belly slightly tipping upwards causing the second to be cut in half through the chest, and the other in the head.
without breaking a sweat, he dashed to the climbing wall. He grabbed the first area he could grab on and pulled against it, propelling his whole body 4 climbs higher. Repeating this 3 times got him to the top. I'n there, he met the monkey bars and did almost the thing as with the climbing walls earlier.
He grabbed the first rod that he could, swinged 3 times and propelled himself 5 rods further, finishing the course, shocking everyone as if they saw an epic class lightning element user rushing through the course with mobility type magic.
"You've been dragging that dagger around for just a couple minutes, yet your already tired." he comments, "Finish this course, behead one of the wooden dummies, and I'll pass you before we even finish your supposedly training."
"I finished it all in mere minutes, without breaking a sweat. You should at least do close to that." he bragged as he lowered his long sword in the weapon's wrack.
After that day, I spent countless days and night, practicing the whole course.
"Dash" skill
leveled up to 5
I was about to finish practicing monkey bars, it was early morning. I was about to take a break from my early training when a familiar sound startled me.
"Monkey bars" Training
training level: 3
results:
+10 Strength
"YES!" I celebrated, accidentally loosening my grip on the rod. suddenly I found myself in the ground with my back aching from the awful 'emergency' landing.
Gosh, I can't believe that this thing actually works even when I'm training! I brushed off the dust on my behind and started practicing tricks on wielding my dagger to improve my wielding.
I was 4 years old when I first saw these panels. When I first saw them, it was occupying at least 50% of my vision. It annoyed me for weeks before I was able to figure out how to close it.
By the time I hit 5, I've already figured out how to use them. I wasn't able to express it's meaning to my mind in a way that our language could explain yet.
During that time, I used to play with my shapey looking toy things. Everytime I'd finish, I would get a notification.
"Shape fitting"
Training level: 0
results:
+0.05 Intelligence
Everytime I'd get the same panel, I'd feel like a kid being given chocolates. Eventually, I started playing all day long, everyday.
By the time I reached 6, I have amassed 18 intelligence points. This allowed me to talk like any 17 year old kid and allowed me to understand the panels even more! Even my father couldn't do that when he was my age!
Eventually I reached a point where I got a familiar yet different panel.
"Shape fitting" Training

+0.05 Intelligence
mastered
After that, I checked my stats panel.
Basics
Strength: 1.5
Agility: 2.4
Endurance: 1
Intelligence: 18
Class/Personality related
Cunning: 1
(unlock others by learning other training methods or classes.)
I realized that my stats aren't well balanced, so I started looking for other things to improve my other stats, like Sprinting for strength, eating for mana and endurance, running aimlessly for agility, and sneaking around for cunning.
Everyday I'd practice raising my strength, agility, and cunning. which did not betray me.
When I reached the right age for schooling, I was both the most athletic and the smartest of all the students that I went to class with.
