The party followed normally. After Hinata made her speech, Kira said good-bye and left. Kira was looking forward to the next day as he would learn a bit of Taijutsu and Kensjutsu.
...
After returning home, Kira changed his clothes and went to store his swords before bed. When Kira was saving his 2 Katanas, suddenly his Sakabatou shone with a black glow. Kira, who was taken by surprise, let his Katana fall to the ground.
A few moments later, the gleam of the sword finally faded. Kira, after calming down, crouched down to pick up Sakabatou, and took his out of the sheath, to find out what made his shine.
When Kira pulled the katana from the scabbard, he accidentally made a small cut on his finger. Kira watched Sakabatou shine again for a moment, but it was so fast that he did not know if this was a hallucination.
After clearing the blood that fell on his sword, Kira decided he should leave this anomaly aside for now. Even because, for some reason, Kira suddenly felt extremely tired, to the point that it was difficult to remain conscious.
Kira then forced hisself to walk to his bed and finally fell asleep.
...
Just before Kira's Sakubatou shone, elsewhere in the world, a pale-skinned old man sat on a golden throne. The old man released an aura of supremacy, as if everything and everyone were beneath him.
The old man's eyes were closed, suddenly opening, revealing black eyes that seemed to see through everything. For an instant the old man's eyes flashed with a black light.
"Hoo? Finally someone worthy to receive the inheritance of this old man?" The old man spoke in a hoarse voice that exuded power.
"Hm? No chakra network?" The old man wondered a little in surprise.
The old man then rose from his throne and floated slowly. A smile could be seen on the old man's face.
"He has three of my four swords, and this old man does not intend to deliver the latter so easily." The old man spoke in an indifferent voice.
The old man finally arrived at the door of his castle. He pushed the door lightly, and the door slowly opened.
After leaving the castle, the old man let out a low sigh and continued to float until he reached the edge of his flying island.
The old man looked at the people below, who were nothing but ants in the old man's eyes.
"Well, I hope you do not let me down, you're the second person to be born without a chackra network, you're destined to be glorious, just like this old man!" The old man gave a little laugh.
The old man stared at the starry sky before slowly raising his hand. The old man's hand flashed with a black light, until the light disappeared.
"This old man has put his hopes in you, Young Kira." The old man spoke in a warm voice.
...
"Where I am?" Kira asked herself a little confused.
Kira was currently in a totally white place, Kira did not know where this place was and how it got here.
He watched his turn and finally saw a silhouette. Kira cautiously approached the silhouette. Coming closer, Kira was shocked.
Kira saw himself repeatedly punching a manikin with his Murasame.
The coup was simple and quick. He was disemboweling the Murasame and cutting into the mannequin's neck. Every time the mannequin's head was cut off, he would be restored seconds later.
This scene seemed strange to Kira, since the sword did not even touch the mannequin, yet it was cut off. It did not look like simple Iaijutsu.
"Where am I, and who are you, and why are you with my sword?" Kira shouted in a cold voice, for what appeared to be his copy.
The copy ignored him, and continued to make the same stroke over and over again. It seemed the copy was not even alive. His face was expressionless, and he just struck steadily, over and over again.
BAM!
Kira heard a thud close to him. He turned around and noticed that his Murasame was on the floor, next to a mannequin, which was identical to what the copy was striking.
"Murasame?" Kira wondered, as he unconsciously approached the sword.
Kira took the sword, and looked at the manikin beside his, then his gaze went to the copy, which was still performing the blow.
"Should I do the same?" Kira wondered as he picked up Murasame and imitated the position of the copy.
Kira tried to imitate the blow of the copy, but he had difficulty doing the same, since the copy was holding the sword in the left hand and Kira is right-handed.
...
The morning finally arrived. Kira got up from his bed, and thought of everything that happened.
"I was training, was not I?" "Actually ... where was I?" "Why did I copy that copy?" Kira wondered, confused about his own actions.
"I remember I slept and suddenly I woke up in that all white place. It was all a dream? No, I clearly remember training that blow for hours."Kira wondered.
