Chapter 14: 13: Ruminating
(SUPER SHORT CHAPTER)
"My lord!" the door suddenly burst open and the guard from outside came in. "Your son gained consciousness just now, the grand healer requests you presence at once"
"Really?! that's great, I will go right now!" Zarg suddenly jumped from his seat. "Edward, would you mind if I left you here for a few minutes, I must go to my son"
"Oh no problem" Edward replied
"Good, quick lets go" Zarg quickly left along with his guards and Edward was left along inside the house.
"Goodness me, how irresponsible, leaving me alone in his house. Isn't he afraid I might steal something here?" Edward mumbled, whilst looking around. "Might as well look around huh..."
Edward stood up and examined the house. The first thing that caught his interest were the tables. It was made of a strange material that looked like wood, only it was really black. The same material could be seen throughout the entire room.
"Core, analyze that material." Edward thought, and all of a sudden a transparent panel appeared in front of him. The panel showed data about the scanned material.
"Hmmm, its like wood huh? And the walls looked like its made of one entire material? it seems this giant castle has been carved out of one massive boulder. That's impressive"
Edward began analyzing the different items and decorations in the room. There were vase like objects made from what seems to be gold, there are swords and spears adorning the walls. and there are numerous paintings of people hung everywhere. Somehow, Edward started to feel quite emotional
'Its just like a room inside Buckingham Palace before the Great London Earthquake of year 2343. Man its such a shame Buckingham palace collapsed, it was after all the last remnant of my childhood days. Being a poor kid from the Philippines, it was the first palace I ever saw..." Edward began to remember his childhood.
[Sir, I have completely analyzed the green particles that the giant raven emitted when he was healing his son. It seems to be a type of regenerative accelerator using the radiation in the air, and similar to how cells in the body repair itself, the green energy speeds up the repair by what seems to be 1000%]
Edward was shocked! 'What the heck? the radiatio- I mean Ethion can be used that way?!? hmmm, it seems i would need to tour this place tomorrow...'
[Why not today sir?]
"Well, why do it today when you can do it tomorrow. Plus, I don't have any work to do anyway so lets take it slow"
[Didn't you want to return to earth as soon as possible? Why are you procrastinating now?]
"I like to go with the flow Core. And the flow is telling me to stay here for a while" Edward hummed as he examined one of the paintings in the wall.
[.....1000 years and still an idiot...] the system spoke to itself in such a low frequency even Edward didn't hear.
