Nate woke up earlier than usual as he has physiology lecture and the professor has been keeping an eye on him due to his absence for class last semester.
Being a med student can be difficult, with lot to study without making any progress. And to make it worse the world revolves around socializing which is bit hard for Nate.
He isn't an introvert per se but he prefers to spent his free time alone watching anime or series of his liking rather than laughing at crude jokes and keeping up appearances.
As he rushes through his morning activities and gets dressed he notices that his lab coat is still out in the balcony left to dry after it was washed yesterday. He rushes into the balcony to grab his coat and to his bad luck slips on the wet floor, he tries to catch the rails for support and misses them and topples over it, falling straight down.
As he falls he sees his life flashing in front of him. From his parents to his friends from school and all the stupid decisions he made in life. And his only regret being unable to make his hardworking parents happy and proud. After what seemed like an eternity or an instant, he felt it. The shock of hitting the asphalt as his backbone facing the brute force shattered, he could feel his life ebbing away as the blood flowed put of his orifices. He noticed that people have started to gather around him but he can't make out their faces or voices as his vision gets blurred and his ears are ringing from the fall, and soon lost his consciousness.
