Chapter 158: I TRUSTED YOU

"Aren't you brave enough?"  The stranger asked playfully. His tone was full of amusement.

Mu Lan jumped in surprise. She was so spooked that her soul nearly left her heart. She turned around to look behind her and found a man in black clothes.

In the dark, he looked tall and sturdy. He was lazily standing beside the sofa. His body was relaxed. He wasn't expecting any deliberate action from her. He knew that Qi Ying was a docile woman.

Mu Lan thought, 'So, this is the person who took me away.' She took a deep breath and calmed her racing heart. Then she carefully asked, "Who are you?" She needed to know why he abducted her. As far as she knew, she did nothing wrong nor did she make any enemy.

The man in black laughed. In Mu Lan's ears, his laugh sounded lifeless. Her body shivered. She realized that this man could be very dangerous. Even in the dark, the man could see her trembling.

The man replied, "I'm your future husband."
