The Epic of Lex Talionis Vol. 1

The Epic of Lex Talionis Vol. 1

Ragi, a boy raised by Polaris's greatest Archmage and Warrior makes what usually would be a normal trip to the library to study his Father's tomes of magic. At the Library he meets Rory Sinclair, a demigod next in line to become the champion of Celestus, King of the Gods. Finding that they both have aspirations to become great heroes, they vow to do so at any cost. On that same day, however, Ragi also meets Auberon Thermidor, one of the very heroes he aspires to become. But as the saying goes, never meet your heroes. The next day, Ragi and Rory go to explore the city only to run into trouble with some problematic bullies. A fight breaks out and magic is cast forcing Ragi to do the unthinkable and jump into harm's way. Though it isn't as harmful as he normally thought it would be. Emerging from a ball of flames Ragi can cast his first spell. Something he runs home to reveal to his parents. However, tragedy strikes. Devastated, Ragi runs into the forests outside of the city only to find a temple. It is there he finds the Goddess Mana who takes a keen interest in the boy. She vows to tell him of his gifts when he comes of age. Years later, Ragi grows into a fine young man under the tutelage of Auberon and Mana, and on the day of his sixteenth birthday, he sets out to Mana's temple where only to be greeted by a massacre. With treachery, misunderstandings, and some truth revealed afoot, Ragi and his companions are now treated as Polaris's most dangerous criminals and now race against time to clear their names. To do so they must find allies including those among the Gods themselves In the quest to clear his name, Ragi must face his circumstances head-on while retaining his sense of self. Though the trials before him seek to corrupt his very soul. Turning him into a being worse than the Demon God himself.

What are the funniest moments in Stellaris stories?

In Stellaris, there are often funny species traits. For example, I once encountered a species that had the trait of being extremely clumsy. Their ships would constantly bump into each other in their own fleets. And during a joint operation with an allied empire, they accidentally fired on their own allies because they misread the battle orders. It was chaos but also very funny. Also, there was a time when a pre - ftl civilization in my game sent a 'spacecraft' made of cardboard and tinfoil into space, thinking they were exploring the cosmos.

One funny story in Stellaris is when a player named their empire 'The Galactic Pranksters'. They sent out false distress signals to other empires. When the empires arrived to 'help', they were greeted with a barrage of harmless but annoying prank devices like glitter bombs in space. It left the other empires confused and a bit frustrated.

The Stellaris end game stories can vary greatly depending on your playstyle and the choices you've made throughout the game. For example, if you've been focusing on exploration, you might discover ancient secrets that change the course of your empire's end game. If you've been building a diplomatic empire, you could end up leading a coalition against a common threat. Sure. One time, my empire in Stellaris made first contact with a race of sentient mushrooms. Their diplomatic envoys were these tiny spore - shooting creatures. It was so hilarious seeing my grand council trying to negotiate with them while dodging the spores. Another time, a random event made my entire population start believing that a certain asteroid was a holy relic. So we had to build a huge station around it just to appease the masses.
