AN INEVITABLE FATE

AN INEVITABLE FATE

Rachel lost all the colors of her life even before turning 20. She never thought she could fall in love again. On that day, she lost her hopes and the desire to live. The only thing that kept her alive was her memories with him. It was the day when Aaron first saw her. He had never believed in love at first sight. He saw her crying miserably. He stood there the whole day watching her. Later he learned, that it was the day when she lost the love of her life, her husband. He couldn't believe himself that he actually fell in love with a girl at the funeral - her husband's funeral. "Don't leave." Aaron had run behind her, getting drenched in the rain. He was scared, scared that she would leave him. She pushed him hard and shouted, "I don't like you!" Aaron stood there, rooted to the ground. Staring with a blank expression he asked, "Why?" She tightened her lips, scared of showing her weaker side. He continued, "Because of your husband's death?" Rachel felt her world collapsing. She hadn't expected him to know about Eric's death. Seeing her expression he continued, "Rach, you can't live with memories forever. You have to move forward with someone. But I want that someone to be me." Rachel took a deep breath. "I'm not going to get married again." Seeing her being adamant, he said, "Yes, someday, you will." "No, I won't." He asked, "What if you change your mind in the future?" "That will never happen. If that day comes, then I will come to you." Rachel just wanted to get over with this as soon as possible. She didn't think much about her words as that day would never be going to come. Arron narrowed his eyes and asked, "Promise?" She nodded. With an evil grin, he went near her. Holding her face, "Let's seal this promise." Saying this, he kissed her hard. His first love. Can he bring back the happiness that she couldn't even find in her dreams? Him and her? Is it possible? Is it an inevitable fate? The Heir To Oblivion

The Heir To Oblivion

Earth is gone. Solid planets, gas planets, and even asteroids floating through space. Everything has vanished without a trace. Everything except the fiery star that once stood in the center. The Sun burns alone in the Milky Way, its bright light shining upon nothing but darkness. However, there is another universe, on a different plane than the Milky Way. The Praesi. A light-weaved tree with an incomprehensible size, thousands of planets hanging from its branches. On each of these planets resides different races, their bodies different colors, shapes, and sizes. And on some of them, bloodthirsty beasts lurk, on a constant hunt for their next meal. Through strange and unknown circumstances, a single human has survived the destruction of the earth. A spindly teen on the cusp of adulthood, Cage. Everything has been taken from Cage, his home, his life. His family. For a long, long time, Cage was alone in a realm of darkness, his only company being his tumbling thoughts. He could not move, see, or even scream. And just when the ideas of letting go and drifting away into Oblivion seemed to overpower all the others inside Cage's mind, a voice spoke to him. The voice, the first he had heard in far too long a time, gave Cage hope—a reason to go on. Then without warning, the man is thrust into existence, landing in a universe unknown to him. The Praesi. Cage has a purpose, something to find in the long and curving branches of this new universe, and nothing will stop him. Not the ruthless armies or the savage beasts that stand between him and his family.  Even if they could stop him, Cage will not kneel in fear. No. After all, nothing can be more terrifying than that darkness. --- The first two chapters do not contain the MC, however, they do set up the universe and are very important to the overall story. I recommend everyone read them, as I believe they will increase the enjoyment of the novel. --- I do not own the cover photo. If the owner wishes for it to be changed, then it will be done.

The Inevitable End

The Inevitable End

WARNING: This novel is in the process of a rewrite as the early chapters are rough and the later chapters are too slow with the progress. This was my first attempt at a novel and it sucked but I didn't want to throw this aside as I knew the outline all the way until the ending. The rewrite will basically be one year (in the timeline) later where there's more action. Ryan Carter, a 26-year-old man, finds his ordinary life disrupted when a mysterious white rift appears in the sky over his city. As the world reacts to this strange phenomenon, Ryan is swept up into the unfolding events, which will drastically change the course of his life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What this novel is about: This novel is a more realistic take or my attempt at it on what happens when a modern world gets hit by gates, magic, mana, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What to expect: This novel will be very long, there will be a few slice of life elements but not the point where it becomes a slog. Currently, at chapter 35, the novel is making way for why Ryan's reason to becoming stronger. I don't want to have a MC who suddenly wants to gain power without any solid reasoning. There will be no harem. The word count for this novel will be above 1 million words. It might seem like there's too little chapters but most of my chapters are 2k words minimum. I'm currently at 2400 words per chapter average. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New chapters are released daily at 6:00 PM UTC+8. The inevitable plot of a TV series

It could be seen that there were many plots that often appeared in television dramas. Some common plots included: the daughter always looked exactly like her mother when she was young, the second male lead was a warm man, the second female lead was a slut, the male and female leads fell and kissed each other, the bowl in their hands would definitely fall to the ground and shatter when they heard the bad news, and the weather would definitely be stormy when they rushed outside due to sudden changes in sadness. These plots appeared more frequently in television dramas, but they did not necessarily happen often in real life.

The ten inevitable laws of TV dramas included: getting pregnant when you go to bed, chopping vegetables, chopping hands, having birthmarks on your body is a child from a rich family who has been living among the people, saying that you will die after finishing this job, you will never be able to tell that a woman is disguised as a man, judging from the accent of the guest, she will never be a local, embroidery will be troublesome, villains will die from talking too much, vegetative people will wake up with their fingers moving first, and it will rain when they kneel for a long time. These laws often appeared in Chinese TV dramas and became familiar elements to the audience. Sometimes, these laws were used to increase the tension and suspense of the plot, and sometimes they were used to create jokes and entertainment effects.

For example, it could be a story about a character who knew that a certain day would bring a major decision, and the story follows what happens on that day and how they deal with it.

Xinzhai and Zanghang were two important concepts in Zhuangzi's philosophy. They represented Zhuangzi's method of cultivating his body and mind and his spiritual realm. Xinzhai was to get rid of distracting thoughts and make the state of mind reach a state of emptiness to understand the Great Dao. Sitting and forgetting, on the other hand, was to achieve the state of forgetting everything and becoming one with the Dao through meditation. The purpose of Xinzhai and Zanwang was to pursue inner freedom and release, to return to their most original state. Cultivation practitioners could use meditation, meditation, and other methods to achieve self-restraint and meditation, gradually purifying the mind and surpassing oneself. Xinzhai and Zanghang pursued to be one with nature, surpassing man-made restraints and persistence. In short, the two concepts were the core concepts in Zhuangzi's philosophy about inner cultivation and the improvement of spiritual realm.

No. While some may claim that the science fiction short story is dying, it's far from the truth. There are still many platforms that publish such stories, both in print and online. Also, new and emerging writers continue to be drawn to the genre due to its potential for exploring unique ideas within a concise format.
