A soldier's journey in the Plaguelands to Utopia

A soldier's journey in the Plaguelands to Utopia

Another world, another story, another protagonist… Stephan Lancaster was an introvert his whole life living on planet Earth. Since his parents died and left him with a huge sum of money, the first thing he did was to buy an expensive gaming computer. His whole room was basically a gaming area. He had spent hours playing and gaining skills until he became a legend in more than a hundred games. However, everything changed when a girl claiming herself to be a seat holder drags him from the Earth to Masmoenia and forces him to switch bodies with a man who was exiled outside the walls. She offered him a system to help him become stronger and familiarize him with his old living style; it’s just that this time he is the character playing instead of being behind his monitor. On top of it all, she called the system Wonderland. [Welcome to Wonderland] the system spoke. Masmoenia is a planet existing in another alternate universe. There is a disease called Ustriestan that no one knows where it originates or the cure for it. It’s a disease that invades the body and mind and turns people into monsters hunting for the souls of the living. Rumours stipulate the disease comes from a dark Empire belonging to the otherworldly dimension that hosts the dead. After the disease struck the world, many living beings changed and also the laws of life and death were messed up. The dead returned as zombies with different strengths, plants evolved and some of them developed a conscious state of mind, animals became terrifying beasts hunting for living flesh to become stronger…. To protect the remaining living from the endless tortures, all races shut themselves inside their kingdoms closing all borders against all intruders except for the vampires who took down the last two kingdoms of the human race and left them with only a small land where to live, as human titled human, not slaves. Humans living in the last kingdom called Valtrar had no other chance than to rely on old forces like the old deities and worship them, giving them offerings, doing what they asked, to simply have protection from the miasma holding the Ustriestan. ******************** If you want a cover like the one I have, you can contact kan Zi on FB

Utopia X Insanity

Utopia X Insanity

**Synopsis:** The discovery of the "everything" equation granted the power of omniscience, but it also attracted the attention of a god from a foreign world. Clara, the brilliant mind behind the equation, dreamed of using its power to create a utopia. However, reality proved far harsher than she imagined. Years later, as she gazed upon a burning city with countless warheads flying overhead threatening to destroy all she had hoped to save, she resolved to take a different path. In a desperate moment, she prayed to the gods, and her wish was granted. This is the story of Rio, a former hero who fled from his final battle in another world, only to meet his end and be transmigrated into this new universe. But he quickly realizes something —the gods here are all out of their minds ! He was made to be the destined enemy of Clara, who has vowed to destroy all variable in her plan to conduct the apotheosis ritual to become the human god. This would be a tale filled with ambition, drama, betrayal, conflict, and romance. The twist? I, the author, will be an active god within the narrative, shaping the world and influencing events at my whim. Some characters know of my existence, and it will play an important part in my story. If you like time loops, I'm sure this would be a perfect story for you, as I will delve deep into the mechanics and explore my characters in different approaches to see their full motivation and their personalities. With that said, this story could go on for very long, depends on what happen in my personal life. So just sit back and enjoy what I have in store for you ! I will occasionally leave authors note here and there to add lore into the story or just leaving my personal thoughts. you're welcome to leave comments on where you think the story should go, who knows, I might add characters or arcs based on suggestions. I have several things planned out, and a general idea of where things should go to make things interesting. I, as a god of this world, will keep my influence to a minimal, only influence the story when it's logical to do so. This will not be a personal power trip fan fic of myself. ( Read the first 10 chapter and you'll find the general tone of this story, it should give you an idea if you think the concept is as much fun for you to read as much as it is for me to write.) I sincerely hope you enjoy this unconventional story. English is not my first language, and this is also my first time writing a novel, so please excuse something that might be a little bit rough around the edges. Thanks and enjoy :)

Utopia is a fictional, idealized social system, usually referring to a perfect social form in which people live in an environment free from poverty, disease, war, oppression, and exploitation. The social politics, economy, culture, and other aspects have reached a high level of development and balance. Utopia was usually described as a society where there was no class difference, everyone was equal and free, or a perfect government system. The concept of utopia originated from the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato's The Republic. It was later used by many philosophers such as John Rawls 'Theory of Justice and Thomas More's Utopia. Many utopian novels, movies, and games were also used to explore human nature, politics, society, and the ideal world.

Utopian is an ideal social model that aims to create a world without war, disease, poverty, injustice, and contradiction. Utopia was usually described as a perfect, harmonious, equal, prosperous, and free society with some virtues similar to the real world, such as equality, freedom, justice, happiness, and so on. In the Utopia society, people lived a happy, healthy, and peaceful life with a high level of civilization, technology, and cultural prosperity. All social, political, economic, and cultural rights were equally distributed and guaranteed. Everyone could live and develop freely without fear of any restrictions or discrimination. The problems in a utopian society might include uneven distribution of resources, defects in the political system, social class division, environmental pollution, and so on. Although a utopian society was an idealized society, it was impossible to achieve a utopian society in reality because it required extremely high social, political, economic, and cultural standards, which were difficult to achieve in real life.

In the novel Lord of the Mysteries, Utopia was an item that combined many magical abilities. Its main function was to help the user create an ideal world that could be completely controlled by his will. Utopia was described as a spherical object with mysterious symbols and patterns on its surface. When the user's consciousness sank into it, they would enter a world created by their own will. In this world, everything was made up of the user's imagination, and they could realize anything they imagined. However, Utopia also had some limitations and dangers. First of all, the user needed to have a strong enough will and imagination to create a complete world. Secondly, the world of Utopia was illusory. Once the user left, the world would disappear. Finally, Utopia could also affect the user's consciousness, causing them to lose their self-consciousness or fall into madness. All in all, Utopia was a very powerful but also very dangerous item. It needed to be used with caution. In the novel, only a very small number of powerful existences could truly master and use its power. In Lord of the Mysteries, there was a Utopian organization called the Rose School of Thought. Their goal was to " build a perfect society without lies, fraud, discrimination, and oppression." However, their ideas and practices were contrary to the ideals of Utopia. The members of the Rose School of Thought are all members of the Psychology Alchemists. They achieve their goals by controlling and manipulating the minds of others. They believed that only by controlling and manipulating the psychology of others could a perfect society be established. This kind of practice not only violated the free will and dignity of human beings, but also led to social chaos and instability. In the novel, the Rose School of Thought's actions aroused the vigilance and opposition of other factions. In the end, they were defeated by other forces, and their Utopia ideals were destroyed. Therefore, the utopia in Lord of the Mysteries was not a real utopia, but a dark world full of lies, deception, discrimination, and oppression.
