The Fallen Odyssey

The Fallen Odyssey

Author: Corey McCullough is an independent copy editor, proofreader, ghostwriter, and author. He lives in western Pennsylvania with his amazing wife Vanessa and their two beautiful daughters. His favorite pastimes are reading, writing, playing video games, spending time with his best friend (Vanessa), and, most of all, being a dad. A teenager’s wish to escape his stressful life just came true — with otherworldly consequences. Nothing is going right for Justin Holmes. Like many seventeen-year-olds, he sometimes wishes he could just run away and leave everything behind. But he gets more than he bargained for when he storms out of the house after an argument with his father and accidentally steps into a parallel universe of swords, shields, magic, and monsters. Suddenly, Justin is desperate to find a way back to his ordinary life in small-town America. His search for answers takes an unexpected turn when a strange old man and a powerful mercenary recruit him to rescue a kidnapped princess. But their rescue mission quickly takes a disastrous turn and becomes a life-or-death flight deep into the unknown wilds. Justin and his unlikely allies are on the run from dark forces wielding deadly, arcane power — demonic beings that seem to have suddenly arrived from somewhere beyond this world . . . just like Justin. Justin may not be a fighter, but he is intelligent and strong-willed. He soon realizes that nothing in this world is what it seems. Even his allies’ mission may have all been a ruse . . . to get to him. Ancient secrets are revealed that could shake the foundations of this alternate world . . . and might unlock Justin’s portal home. The Fallen Odyssey is a contemporary portal fantasy novel for college and “new adult” audiences. It is the first of a trilogy but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. If you like epic, serious fantasy about dangerous quests in magical worlds, check out The Fallen Odyssey.

Heavenly Demon Lord's Cultivation System

Heavenly Demon Lord's Cultivation System

Sei was an ordinary 16-year-old boy. And by normal I mean normal. The boy had no special capabilities, he had not even the slightest talent for cultivation or even literature. But that was to be expected at the boy was born into a third-class clan. But he still enjoyed life to the fullest. However, his life was completely changed when his clan was attacked. Four months after his birthday his clan was attacked. But who it was attacked by shocked everyone even more. It attacked by the owner of his clan. He had survived the initial raid as he was in the forest getting firewood. However, when he returned to the clan he was devastated. But instead of waiting for his death, he ran. He ran and ran but he could only survive for a week before getting caught. And when he was about to die something spectacular happened. He had activated his inheritance [The Heavenly Demon Lord's System]. At first, he was confused as he did not understand but what had happened next horrified him. Just when his life was about to turn around. Another devastating thing happened to him. The system took over his body making him lose control over his body. However, his consciousness stayed. Being locked away never to be heard by anyone again. Now although the system was created with the knowledge of everything (besides cultivation techniques). There was one thing it did not know, it did not know that Sei could cultivate even without a body. So he did and cultivated and waited for over 400 years. Until he finally had the chance to regain what was rightfully his. As the system took over his body it had but one goal in mind and that was to become the world's strongest. And as it did it made countless enemies, it used everyone and anyone as a stepping stone. Everyone from the Orthodox Sect to the Unorthodox Sect and even the Demonic Cult was all but a means to an end. Everyone wanted him dead. But as the system had only one goal it did not care about what it had to do to achieve that goal. And as the years went on, it gathered more and more enemies to the point that he couldn't even cultivate in peace. It was this year that Sei managed to regain his body. The system had finally achieved reaching the fifth title realm. And as soon as it left secluded cultivation it was attacked by the most powerful cultivators. It was at this moment that Sei used his one and only chance to use his body. And pierced a giant hole into his chest. By doing this his body died but it was not the end he had one last trick up his sleeve. It was an ancient art that the system had found but found it useless. However, Sei found it extremely useful. It was an art that could reverse time depending on the user's cultivation but it could only be used once. And that's exactly what Sei did, he reversed time as the thing possessing his body started to lose power. He was sent to the past and regained all of his memories as well as the system. This time, however, it did not possess his body. ******** Author's note I really enjoy writing this and I hope to make you enjoy reading it. I wouldn't recommend reading this if you're expecting the MC to make friends or become a hero. Let me tell you now it will not be like that. Please do tell me if I can improve the story somehow.

The World Is our (Mine!)

My name is Rhemil Rhoa, and I was once a Knight of the Order of Iron. As I am confine within these walls of stone, awaiting my execution, I will recounted my story to you, O the stranger in the dark. Our disastrous defeat has greatly changed the order. Our illusions of obligation and honor, of grandeur and glory, of wealthy and pillage ,which we held ourselves to before, have entirely disappeared. Lord Eisen has given into apathy and refuses to see anyone, his sons, all of them have died in the siege. The officers rounded up the remaining dregs of our order and relocated us under the ruins of the fortress. It's a dismal, depressing place, but it's better than staying the forests among the corpses of our men. No one wanted to join the fight anymore, after all, one can only do so much against such overwhelming strength. The Auturo Kingdom has ordered the execution' of anyone that dare to enact desertion. And that means the inquisition's dungeon, torture, and death in the cleansing flames is all that awaits us back home should we had not died..... Dark, black, hungering crows no longer appear in our camp above. In their stead has appeared a most shining warriors high above our heads. They are mighty and like gods, are not afraid to use force against anyone standing in their way.....it was.....a mistake for the likes of us mortal to dare peek unto the domain of The Gods.....May the Holy Spirit save our soul..... —————-——————————————- This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Was there a ghostwriter?

There were indeed some people in the online literature world who used other characters 'voices or pen names to ask others to write novels for them. These ghostwriters were often called " ghostwriters " or " ghostwriters." Gunners would usually accept a commission to write a novel and then publish it online to earn money. However, ghostwriting wasn't the only thing that could affect the original work. There were also some who didn't hire ghostwriters. This required enough passion and perseverance.

Gu Long's novels were regarded as the classics of martial arts novels, so the question of whether he was a ghostwriter had always been controversial. However, according to some media reports and academic research, some of Gu Long's novels did have ghostwriters. Some of Gu Long's novels were suspected to have been ghostwritten by others, such as the Legend of Lu Xiaofeng series and White Jade Tiger. These novels were different from Gu Long's original style and storyline, and sometimes there were even obvious flaws and pen errors. In addition, some of Gu Long's novels were also accused of plagiarism, such as the similarities between "The Peerless Twins" and "Little Li Flying Dagger". Although some of Gu Long's novels had problems with ghostwriting, his other works such as the Legend of Lu Xiaofeng series and White Jade Tiger were considered to be written by him. The style and storyline of these works were deeply loved by readers and became one of the classic martial arts novels.
