Jenny Twist was born in York and brought up in the West Yorkshire mill town of Heckmondwike, the eldest grandchild of a huge extended family. She left school at fifteen and went to work in an asbestos factory. After working in various jobs, including bacon-packer and escapologist’s assistant (she was The Lovely Tanya), she returned to full-time education and did a BA in history, at Manchester and post-graduate studies at Oxford. She stayed in Oxford working as a recruitment consultant for many years and it was there that she met and married her husband, Vic. In 2001 they retired and moved to Southern Spain where they live with their rather eccentric dogs and cat. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, knitting and attempting to do fiendishly difficult logic puzzles. In July 2018 she won the Author Show TOP FEMALE AUTHOR Fantasy/Horror/Paranormal/Science Fiction award. A novel based on the von Däniken theory that the gods were spacemen. Set in the prehistoric Mesolithic age with the goddess Athena as a young girl and Prometheus, a young cave-dweller, as the main protagonists. The boy watched the star fall. It fell very slowly, and it was not one light but a multitude of lights spinning lazily through the night sky. Then great silver fish flew through the sky and other mysterious lights began to appear on the mountain. At last a great thunderbolt struck the ocean. Peculiar to his schoolmates, Ron, Hermione, and other more, one stand out from the rest. Unfortunately, not because of his heroic nor anything good in particular, but because of his bad deeds. A man named Elliot. But truth, he was framed. After the sorrowful life he had, he had the chance to change himself. Himself from the past. Creating an empire that will stand high among the rest. She was swift and agile, a messenger of the gods and a symbol of freedom, her presence a harbinger of hope. • Seraphina, the Swan of Serenity, glided gracefully over tranquil waters, her pure white feathers reflecting her inner peace. She brought harmony and healing, soothing the hearts of those in turmoil and restoring balance to the land. • Pyra, the Phoenix of Rebirth, burned with an eternal flame, his fiery plumage a beacon of renewal and transformation. From the ashes of destruction, he rose again and again, a testament to the power of resilience and the promise of a new beginning. These five were the Pentad of Protectors, united by their mission to defend the world from the forces of darkness. Their greatest challenge came in the form of the Shadow Flock, a sinister group intent on plunging the realms into chaos and despair. The Celestial Birds fought valiantly, but the battle was fierce and unforgiving. One by one, they fell, their spirits lingering in the hopes that one day, successors would rise to continue their legacy.
