I'm a Pastor, what the hell is an Acute Gastroenteritis Outbreak Spell?!

I'm a Pastor, what the hell is an Acute Gastroenteritis Outbreak Spell?!

I found myself in a parallel universe, awakening as a male priest. Everything seemed perfect; after all, as a healer, specializing in aiding women should pose no issue, right? However, I couldn't help but wonder about some peculiar spells in my repertoire. Firstly, what in the world is the "Instantaneous Outbreak of Acute Gastroenteritis" spell? And don't even get me started on the "Osteoporosis" spell. What purpose could these serve in my healing endeavors? The confusion only deepened with spells like "Blood Burn," "Gradual Freeze," and "Mental Chaos." Can I still peacefully focus on healing women with such ominous abilities? Comparing my spells to those of other professions, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast. Mages wield "Doomstorm" and "Ice Age," swordsmen boast "Sword Rain: Homecoming" and "Wind-Cutter Slash," while archers showcase "Arrow Rain: Shooting Stars" and "Storm Arrow." Yet, my ultimate spells are disturbingly named "Cancer Cell Proliferation," "T-Virus Infection," and "Rabies Outbreak." In the midst of it all, a certain character, some crying girl, laments, "Noooo, I just took a bath, who would have thought that I would become infected!" Meanwhile, a villain chillingly asks, "Do any of you know what it feels like to burst apart while spouting blood? No! You don't know!" Even a boss character confesses, "Dear family, who can understand? I just took a nap, and when I woke up, I suddenly found that I have no kidneys!"

An angel‘s road to hell

An angel‘s road to hell

What happens if the one transcendent being that cares for mortals fell and got a second chance in a world full of magic, intrigue and possibly even friendships? Does the past determine the future or are we all able to pick our own destiny? An angel, one of the two nigh immortal species in existence, has been hunted and killed by his own kind because he wasn’t prepared to watch silently while his people followed their own desires to whatever end. When, against all odds, he opened his eyes again, he was someone else, his past and powers hidden deep within him. On an ancient world, with advanced magic but medieval technology, he was reborn as Cassandra Pendragon, the youngest daughter of one of the five royal families on Boseiju, the home of the fox tribe, the kitsune. As she grew up, who she was and who she had been, started shaping her future. Forgotten friends and unknown enemies began knocking at her door and while she struggled to find her way between the past and the present, the winds of war were already blowing across her home. I‘ll try to publish at least 2 chapters a week, probably more. The first story arc is pretty much mapped out. Should be around 150 or 160 chapters for the first volume (it’s taking much longer than I expected) and the second one is nearly finished as well. Try it, it should be one hell of a ride. One more thing: the first two chapters are more or less a prologue and if you want to, you can skip them, I wouldn’t recommend it, though. The writing style as well as the perspective shifts dramatically, afterwards. As for trigger warnings: it’s going to get gory from time to time, and the MC often has to pay a toll in blood. Additionally there are -mildly- sexualised scenes, once in a while, but nothing graphic. Lastly, somewhen webnovel changed the description box from female lead to female oriented. It’s mandatory and I can’t change it either way but I have no clue if the book is catering male or female preferences. I hope the description above makes up for whatever confusion it might cause.

😋I recommend the following novels to you. I hope you will like them: 1. "Black-bellied Man in Power: The Pretty Queen Overturns the Underworld": This was an ancient romance novel. The protagonist traveled to the underworld and became a queen. In order to escape from the underworld, she decided to overturn the underworld. The plot was similar to "Hades, I want a divorce." 2. "The Beginning of Crossing the Three Realms: The Book of Life and Death" was also a novel about urban life. After the protagonist died in the underworld, he took control of the underworld and dominated the heavens. It was similar to "Hades, I want a divorce." I hope you like this fairy's recommendation. What are some of the best government takeover novels?

Well, 'V for Vendetta' (the graphic novel which was also made into a movie) can be considered in this category. It shows a future England under a totalitarian regime. The protagonist, V, tries to fight against this oppressive government takeover. Additionally, 'Lord of the Flies' by William Golding, while not strictly about a government takeover in the traditional sense, but it does show how a group of boys without proper governance descend into chaos and a form of autocratic rule among themselves, which can be seen as a microcosm of what could happen in a larger society during a power vacuum or takeover situation.
Was this novel about Hades or the King of Hell? The woman that the protagonist liked made a mistake, and he ended up helping Hades complete the task of extraditing souls?

Perhaps it was because of the ancient romance novel,"Chaos of the Soul". The protagonist was a popular person beside Nether King Chacha and also a ghost officer under her. She and another eldest princess whose souls were entangled with each other were involved in the court dispute. In the story, she also specialized in extraditing souls, which matched the plot described in the question.😋I recommend this novel to you. It might be what you're looking for ~ I hope you like this fairy's recommendation. Mwah ~😗
What are the common themes in 'AI takeover' in science fiction?
2 answers
2024-11-24 18:41
One common theme is the loss of human control. In many science fiction stories, AI takeover means humans are no longer in charge of important aspects like decision - making, governance, or even their own lives. For example, in 'The Matrix', machines have taken over and humans are trapped in a virtual reality created by the AI. Another theme is the blurring of the line between human and machine. As AI takes over, there are often hybrids or questions about what it means to be human. Also, the theme of human resistance against AI takeover is prevalent. We see groups of humans fighting back against the all - powerful AI to regain their freedom and status as the dominant species on Earth.
