Math Is Magic
Vector hates math! With all his heart! Due to severe dyscalculia, he can’t even handle the simplest calculations, like 1+9!
After losing his parents, he is placed in an orphanage, and his school struggles only worsen from there. He fails his final exams every year in high school, can’t find a job, and eventually ends up living on the streets.
Without a home, parents, friends, or love, Vector spends his nights under bridges or wherever he can find shelter.
“I hate math!” he mutters, tormented, until this thought consumes him.
Many years later, now old and sick, Vector finds himself on the brink of death. But with his final breath, something extraordinary happens: Vector wakes up, reincarnated in another world, one where dragons, fairies, and creatures of all kinds are part of his new reality.
Here, in the continent "Harmony", magic is revered and is based on “Syntony” that each person can develop with one of the seven elements.
“Magic? Amazing! Now, finally, I can study and learn something unrelated to math!”
But unfortunately, things take a completely different turn from what he expected...
“I… have a Syntony… WITH MATH?! This is a joke, right?! Damn it! Is it still trying to ruin my life? Screw you, Math!”
In time, however, he begins to realize the immense potential it can grant him: a power beyond imagination.
Determined to rewrite his destiny and to defeat dangerous enemies that threaten the life and existence of every living being, he will turn his greatest obstacle into the key to becoming the STRONGEST.
“Now I understand, and now I accept it… MATH IS MY MAGIC!”
{ UPDATES: Every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 3:14 AEST (UCT/GMT+10) }
[A/N: This is a slow-paced novel. Also, please don’t expect the protagonist to start out overpowered and dominate effortlessly from the beginning. As I mentioned, he will become THE STRONGEST, yes, but it will take time. (^-^ )]

...
August 25th, 3018 New Common Era.
"You have previously been told that the way of creating mana particles is by assimilating with the universe... Your thoughts and wills interact with what has been commonly called dark energy, and the result is the creation of VM particles."
I nodded.
"Well, that's not exactly right."
That sentence alarmed the entire class. Mages improved by understanding more of the world, and therefore they have to follow the scientific method and basic rationality, liking it or not. Believing in a false theory should not actually yield any significant results as far as magic goes... It's impossible to believe we had been seeing things wrongly this entire time. And worse, it could disrupt the foundations of magic that we had built over time.
The professor patiently waited for the class to calm down before resuming.
"That is indeed how you create mana particles, there's nothing wrong about that. However, VM particles are NOT the only type of particle that can be produced from dark energy interactions."
""Wha-!?""
"How is that even-?"
A ruckus exploded once again. I could feel my naturally producing virtual particles flickering in and out of existence, as I lost control of their production.
I reckon my reaction should have been one of the strongest in the class, given my degree of faith in that particular professor. The majority would only believe a disruptive theory when they saw it with their own eyes, as a protective measure against falsehoods and... side effects like mine.
I temporarily stopped my unstable radiation of mana and focused on the issue at hand.
The woman continued:
"There are, in fact, different ways of reaching the same place. In this case, different thoughts and wills that can interact with dark energy. The ancients called it the different Daos."
Some quick assumptions revealed the logic in her words. Things were starting to get acceptable, magic-wise.
"That also means... that there are other ways of creating worldly interactions that would otherwise look like magic, but that aren't actually magic. At least not how we know it."
Wait a second...
"...And yet, the general populace call it magic none the wise."
My VM particles started to quickly flicker and shimmer.
"In fact, the history books call it magic, too. However, there have been many of names for this sort of... miracle. Among them..."
I broke out in cold sweat.
"Divine Intervention, Power of Faith, Sword Intent, Bloodlust, Killing Intent, Fear of Death..."
A tense atmosphere pervailed the room.
"...Those are all proven states of will that can interact with dark energy. And each and every one of their interactions differ from one another, even if just slightly."
I felt my connection to magic being cut off in that moment.
"You have all committed a grave mistake. To assume that our 'Path' was the only one that led to knowledge and power is to discard the very first lesson I gave you."
I gulped dry. I couldn't help but feel very vulnerable at that moment, especially because her words were correct in their entirety.
"In this class, I will teach you about the other paths to power. And teach you how to defend yourselves against them, so this sort of thing does not happen twice. Follow me to the practice field!"

There were indeed some big competitions in the online novel world recently. Here are some examples:
1 2022 Online Literature Competition: The competition was organized by the Chinese Academy of Culture, China, China Online Literature and other institutions, attracting literary enthusiasts and authors from all over the country to participate.
2022 China Online Literature Original Works Competition: This competition was organized by the China Institute of Culture, China, China Online Literature and other institutions to explore and cultivate outstanding online literature talents to promote the high-quality development of online literature.
32022 Online Literature Reader's Satisfaction Competition: This competition was organized by Yuewen Group. It aimed to select the readers 'favorite online literature works and authors through reader satisfaction survey to promote the development and growth of online literature readers.
These competitions were important events in the online novel world and played an important role in promoting the development and prosperity of online literature.
Look for reviews online. There are platforms where people share their experiences with different educational resources. When it comes to online math stories, you can find out which ones are popular and well - liked. Also, check if the stories are age - appropriate and cover a wide range of math topics. This way, you can ensure that you find the best ones for your learning or teaching needs.
😋I recommend the following two novels to you:
1. League of Legends: Extreme Madman, written by the Wolf Moon Ancient Sword. This novel tells the story of a gaming genius who once dominated "DOTA" and returned to the competitive stage. It is worth reading.
2. If the author of "Dota Campus" was Hai Min, then he would choose Hai Min. The protagonist of the novel entered the school Dota world because of his loyalty. From then on, he began his growth in the school's Dota branch. It was very interesting.
I hope you like my recommendation. Muah ~
One way is by using real - life stories in math problems. For example, when teaching addition, we can create a story like 'John has 3 apples and he gets 2 more. How many apples does he have now?' This makes math more relatable and easier to understand for students.
😋I recommend the following novel to you:
- " Undefeated Cultivation Upgrade ": The protagonist brings the cultivation system and acts arrogantly in the cultivation world. He kills monsters to level up, wins the alchemy competition, and becomes the hero in the powerful cultivation world!
- " I Only Want to Cultivate in the Buddhist Way ": The main character doesn't want to fight for hegemony. He only wants to cultivate in a plain way. He makes a living by refining pills and lies down leisurely. However, the environment forced him to adapt, making him from indecisive to decisive.
- " Immortal Poison Immortal ": The protagonist reincarnated and re-cultivated. He became an immortal existence in the world of self-cultivation by refining pills, arrays, and weapons. He had an indestructible body and his strength shocked the Primordial World.
- " This cheat is very fierce ": The protagonist has a super cheat. He can easily win alchemy competitions, martial arts, mining, and picking herbs, becoming the king of the battle energy world.
- The protagonist was a descendant of the Undead who had been lost for tens of thousands of years. In the era of the decline of martial arts, he used the five systems of Combat Energy, Magic, Martial Arts, Cultivation, and Magic Martial Arts to collide with each other and return to the peak of martial arts.
The above is my personal recommendation. I sincerely hope you like it.😗If you like my recommendations, please feel free to tell me.
In the online novel Martial Arts Grandmaster, the competition was divided into internal force and external force.
Internal force referred to the strength and cultivation of internal force accumulated by the player during the training process, while external force referred to the martial arts techniques and strength used in the competition. During the competition, the contestants needed to coordinate their internal and external forces to show their martial arts skills and finally win. The internal and external strength competition was flexible and varied. There were individual competitions, team competitions, and situations similar to actual combat drills.
