Wenn es die Welt ist, die du dir wünschst, werde ich sie dir auf einem Silbertablett servieren. Du kannst die ganze Welt haben, aber Liebling, vergiss nicht, dass dir zwar alles gehört, aber du gehörst zu mir." Adrienne runzelte die Stirn. "Aber du magst mich doch gar nicht ..." Sie überlegte, dass ihr Mann vielleicht den Verstand verloren hatte. "Nein, das habe ich nicht, aber ich liebe dich jetzt. Du bist sogar die Einzige, an die ich in diesen Tagen denke." Es schien ihr jedoch, dass nicht nur ihr Mann versuchte, ihre Aufmerksamkeit zu gewinnen, sondern auch ihre Schwiegereltern.
