Emma was Jane Austen's last work before her death. This version was a mini-series launched by BBC in 2009. Emma Woodhouse was a rich, smart, beautiful, eloquent, and pretentious girl. She had an interesting hobby of being a matchmaker. However, every time she tried to pull strings, it was based on her whimsical ideas or impulse, and it often ended in failure. Her interference in other people's marriage caused dissatisfaction from her old friend, Knightley. He warned her that she should let both parties in love deal with marriage matters on their own. After spending time with Knightley, Emma began to reflect on her actions and finally realized her true love. This mini-series had a total of four episodes and had a Douban rating of 8.4.
