Rise of the Blood Sovereign

Rise of the Blood Sovereign

Hi guys, this is my second novel here, and for you that have been reading my previous novel 'Is this really A Game?!' this one will be quite different. First of all, the system elements are light compared to my previous novel as the world I am writing about is one that had magic and monsters before the system arrived and is available to all. You should expect a dark story with a protagonist that acts like a villain at times and is quite calculative in his endeavors. Anyway, hope you enjoy it, and here is the synopsis. Lyle was an orphan, he knew not of who his parents were and only had memories of his mother from a long time ago. After being discovered by a mysterious man, Lyle joined the assassin organization and rose through the ranks thanks to his hard efforts, talent, and mysterious origin. The world suddenly changed during one of his missions, what was supposed to be a slightly more difficult mission became a hard one, and then the change occurred. Mana ran rampant and the many monsters of the world became stronger, more of them appeared and suddenly the inhabitants of the world that had suppressed monsters for so long were forced to fight the more powerful monsters once again. For Lyle, it was a chance, however. The system came into his world and he received an opportunity to become more powerful. Ding! [ The system has scanned the host and has concluded that the bloodline can be activated. ] [ Will you activate the bloodline? ] [ The host will have to sacrifice all the power he has and will be back at level 1 upon doing so ] "My bloodline, will I finally be able to track him down after doing this?" "System, activate it." [ The host has activated his bloodline ] [ The host has been marked by the Empress of the Night, it is advised that you become powerful quickly, otherwise, you might get captured ] "Huh?" The cover was made by myself

Born in Blood

Born in Blood

His mother died when she gave birth to him, his father a physically abusive alcoholic. Life is not kind to Darius King. Darius would have dreams of being in a world of magic, but alas, his dreams would always end. He hated life, and life hated him, so he ended both his and his father's. When reincarnating into a peasant-like lifestyle as Liam, in the town of Ucladd, Darius realizes he has entered the world of cultivation! With his ambitious, ruthless, and curious nature combining into one, he paves a bloody path to power. Shifting his gaze from the Earth towards the Sky, nothing will stop him on his path for strength. "I will touch the stars... or die trying." ==================== Note: NO R-18, R**e, Romance or pre-marital handholding. I take no pleasure in writing such things. There's a bunch of killing and gruesome descriptions though. The novel is a bit slow in the first chapters, but after that, it picks up and gets significantly better. Also, the power system is similar to BotDS, but I've asked the author for permission to use it. It's also heavily inspired my writing, but the beginning is where its most prevalent. Bayou romance novels usually portray the bayou as a mysterious and alluring place. The thick swamps, filled with cypress trees and Spanish moss, create an atmosphere of secrecy. For example, in many novels, the bayou is where the characters go to find solace or to have secret encounters. The wildlife, like alligators and egrets, add to the wildness and beauty of the setting.

I don't think so. Usually, such titles are just made up to draw attention and build an engaging plot. There's no evidence to suggest it's based on real events.

Well, there's a bayou ghost story about a young girl. She got lost in the bayou one stormy night. Her spirit is now said to roam the area. Locals often hear her faint cries for help. It is believed that if you follow the sound of her cries, you'll get lost in the maze - like bayou just like she did. Some say they've seen a blurry figure of a girl in a white dress, wandering aimlessly among the cypress trees.

The 'bayou singer' could potentially have a story that involves growing up in the bayou region. Maybe they were influenced by the unique culture, music, and lifestyle there. For example, the bayou has a rich heritage of Cajun and Creole music, and the singer might have incorporated those elements into their own music. They could have started singing in local bars or festivals, gradually building a following and a story of their own journey in the music industry.

Once upon a time in the Bayou, a lone traveler got lost. As night fell, strange noises filled the air. He saw a pair of glowing eyes in the distance. Panicking, he ran, but the eyes seemed to follow. He finally found an old shack and hid inside. But then he heard scratching at the door. All through the night, the unknown creature outside tried to get in, and he spent the most terrifying hours of his life in that shack.
