My favourite animal story is about a dog. It's my favourite because it shows how loyal dogs can be. In the story, the dog's owner was in danger in a fire. The dog didn't run away. It barked loudly to wake up the neighbors and then ran into the burning house to try to find its owner. Fortunately, the neighbors were able to rescue both the dog and its owner. This story really touched my heart and made me love dogs even more.
My favourite novel is 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. It is a classic that never fails to charm me. The story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy's relationship, from initial misunderstandings to true love, is beautifully told. Austen's sharp wit and her detailed descriptions of the English society in the 19th century make this novel a real gem. The characters are so vivid, like the overbearing Lady Catherine and the flighty Lydia. Reading it is like taking a journey back in time to a world of balls, social hierarchies and complex courtships.
The story I like is about a group of dolphins. They lived in the ocean. One of the dolphins got injured by a fishing net. The other dolphins didn't abandon it. Instead, they helped it swim to the surface to breathe and led it to a place where some humans were helping marine animals. The humans removed the net carefully. The dolphins were so grateful and swam away happily.
One of my favourite stories to share with friends is about a magical journey. There was a young girl who found a mysterious key. She followed the clues that the key led her to and it took her to a hidden world full of talking animals and beautiful, glowing plants. It was a world where kindness was the most powerful magic. She used her own kindness to solve problems and make friends with the creatures there. In the end, she learned that the key was actually a symbol of her own inner strength and courage.
One of my favourite family stories dates back to when my grandparents first immigrated to this country. They had very little, but through hard work and determination, they built a life for our family. Their story of perseverance in the face of difficulties has always inspired me. It is a reminder that with love and dedication, we can overcome any obstacle. We often gather around the dinner table and listen to my grandparents retell their journey, and each time it fills me with a sense of pride and family unity.
My favourite novel is 'To Kill a Mockingbird' because it's a powerful story that tackles important themes like racism and justice with great depth and compassion.
" Drawing Swords " was a classic military novel that described the military wars during the Anti-Japanese War. The protagonist of the novel, Li Yunlong, was a brave, tenacious, and courageous soldier. He grew up in the war and eventually became an outstanding commander.
In the novel, the Chinese army, Li Yunlong, led a disciplined, brave and fearless army to win many battles. At the same time, the novel also described many excellent military generals and soldiers. They showed the spirit and fighting style of the Chinese soldiers through their own practical actions.
The war scenes and characters presented in the novel aroused people's interest in war and military subjects, and also aroused people's strong interest in the Chinese army and soldiers. This novel was not only a literary work, but also a historical document with practical significance. It was of great significance to stimulate people's attention and love for national defense.
Well, 'Beauty and the Beast' could be in it. A young woman named Beauty lives with a Beast in his castle and eventually falls in love with him, breaking the curse. 'Sleeping Beauty' is also a common one. A princess is cursed to sleep for a hundred years until a prince wakes her with a kiss. These stories are great for bedtime as they are magical and can spark the imagination before sleep.
My favourite is 'The Great Gatsby'. It's a story full of glamour and tragedy. Gatsby's pursuit of Daisy is both romantic and doomed. The descriptions of the parties in the novel are vivid, showing the decadence of the Jazz Age.
I adore 'Pride and Prejudice' as my favourite novel. The language used by Jane Austen is so elegant and witty. It shows the different personalities within a family and how society's expectations can influence relationships. Elizabeth is a strong - willed character, which makes her very appealing. The way Austen portrays the pride of Mr. Darcy and the prejudice of Elizabeth at the start, and how they overcome these traits, is a masterful piece of storytelling.
