Toby could be anyone. Maybe it's a friend of the speaker, someone in a writing group, or just a fictional name used to make a general point about writing novels. Without more context, it's hard to say exactly who Toby is.
It could be an exasperated or motivating statement. Maybe Toby has been talking about writing a novel but not actually doing it, so someone tells him to write his own instead of just talking. It might also imply that Toby should stop relying on others' ideas or help and create his own unique story.
Well, maybe Toby is too busy dealing with the chaos in the office. There are always annoying colleagues, like Michael who constantly creates trouble. He has to handle all the human resources stuff, from dealing with Dwight's absurd complaints to calming down Pam when she's frustrated. Writing a novel requires a lot of time and a peaceful state of mind, which Toby probably doesn't have.
Yes, he should. It could be a great way for him to express his repressed emotions. Toby often seems like he's holding a lot inside, and writing a novel would be an excellent outlet. He could write about his experiences in the office, the absurdity of his coworkers, and his own feelings of being an outsider in that environment.
One of the main challenges is time management. It's hard to find enough time to write when you have other responsibilities. Another challenge is self - doubt. You might constantly question whether your story is good enough. Also, writer's block can be a big obstacle. You sit down to write and suddenly have no ideas.
Well, writing your own damn novel starts with having a clear vision. What kind of story do you want to tell? Is it a love story, a thriller, or a science - fiction adventure? Once you know that, do some research if necessary. For example, if it's a historical novel, research the time period. Then, start building your story world. Describe the settings in detail. And most importantly, keep writing. Even when you feel stuck, just keep going and you'll find your way through.

Writing a novel is a very challenging job, but if you can persevere in pursuing your creative dream, it can also become a very valuable creative activity.
Of course, there were a few points to note when writing a novel:

I hope these tips will be helpful to you. I wish you an excellent novel!
One of my favorite books is The Fantastic Journey of the Shepherd Boy. The novel was published by Brazilian writer Paolo Colloais in 1988. It was published in Portugal and was also known as The Alchemist. This work won 33 international awards and was rich in philosophy and poetry. The story was about a young shepherd boy, San Diago, who was on a magical adventure in search of treasure. The author incorporated his own experiences and insights into the work, allowing each reader to think and reminisce from a different perspective. This is one of my favorite works.
