The book follows several young men - Ensign Travis Burners of the U.S. Navy, 1st Lieutenant Jonathan Xavier of the U.S. Air Force, and Cadet Ryan Ming of the U.S. Army, in their encounters on numerous extraterrestrial invasions from creatures of unknown origin from outer space. Hingga wanita itu muncul dengan sendirinya dan mengatakan kebenaran. Setelah mengetahui segala kebenaran, Nalan berhasil lepas dari jerat cinta Serra dan bisa mencintai Mayra begitu dalam. Kebahagiaan hanya sebentar saja terkecap, mantan Istrinya tewas di tangan musuhnya. Penyesalan tak bertepi pun dirasakan lelaki dingin itu seumur hidup.
