My Long Lost Mate

My Long Lost Mate

"Oh! Thank you for catching that little troublemaker. Please give her back to us," said one of the guards while panting for air. Not knowing what to do, I frantically held the man's hand and pleaded, "Please save me! They are going to hurt me! I don't want to go back!" The man first looked at me for a couple of seconds, then at the guards. "Go," he said to the guards grimly. Surprisingly, he was on my side. I was counting on my lucky stars to ask for help from him and I was fortunate enough to earn it. "What?" asked the guards, confused by the man's words. "I said go... before I kill you," he threatened. I was hiding behind the man's back and couldn't see his face, but my guts told me that he meant his words. The guards looked surprised by his words but quickly recovered from them and, instead, started to challenge the man, "We won't go before you hand us that girl." The man sighed and said, "I warned you." After that, the man let go of my hand and turned my body around. "Don't look," he said, before starting to walk towards the guards. Every step he took exuded confidence, and he was not the least scared of the guards who were armed with swords when he himself had nothing but his bare hands. I closed my eyes even with my back towards them and heard one of the guards scream trying to attack the man. No longer after that, the only sound that I could hear was something like... bones breaking. A few moments later, it was completely silent. Is he done? The silence was soon broken by footsteps that I assumed were getting closer to where I was. Is this the footsteps of the man or the guards? That was the question that popped up in my mind. I was ready to run, but before I could proceed to do that, two strong arms gripped both of my shoulders, turning my body around. I nervously opened my eyes to find a pair of red eyes staring softly at me. "Are you okay?" ... The story revolves around a girl who was tortured and the leader of werewolves. There was this instance where entitled parents went to a restaurant. Their child was being noisy and disturbing other customers. Instead of disciplining the child, they got angry at the staff when they were politely asked to keep their child in check. They felt it was their right to let their child do as they pleased. It's really a case of over - entitlement.

There are those entitled parents who are over - involved in their child's academic or extracurricular activities. They try to micromanage everything. In a school play, they might try to change the whole script or the casting just to make sure their child has the lead role. They don't consider the efforts of the teachers or the other students. They feel that their child's success is the only thing that matters and will go to great lengths to ensure it, often at the expense of others.

There was a parent who, at a sports event, yelled at the referee because their child's team lost. They claimed the referee was biased against their child's team, even though the calls were fair. It shows how some parents feel overly entitled to victory for their kids regardless of the circumstances. Also, I heard of a parent who tried to get their child into a prestigious school by falsely claiming connections and special circumstances, believing their child was more deserving than others just because they were their child.

There was an entitled parent who thought their child should always win at sports events. At a little league baseball game, when the umpire made a fair call against their child, the parent stormed onto the field, shouting insults at the umpire and even trying to physically intimidate him. It was really embarrassing for the other kids and parents there.

Well, there was this one time at a restaurant. An entitled parent demanded that the chef make a special dish not on the menu for their picky child. When the waiter said it wasn't possible, the parent started making a huge scene, saying things like 'Don't you know who we are?' It was so absurd.

Sure. There was an entitled parent at a sports event. Their child wasn't very good at the sport, but they demanded that the coach give their kid more playing time. When the coach tried to explain that there were other kids who were more skilled and deserved the time, the parent started yelling that their child was 'special' and should be treated differently. It was really embarrassing for their child.

I've heard of an entitled parent who, during a school field trip, demanded that the bus driver make special stops for their child to buy snacks and use the bathroom whenever the child wanted. The driver had a set schedule but the parent didn't care. Also, there was a parent who thought their child should be the star of every school activity. When the school organized a group project where everyone was supposed to have equal roles, this parent protested and tried to convince the teacher to give their child a more prominent role.

Entitled parents' stories on Voiceyhere may also involve their interactions with other parents. They might be overly critical of other parents' parenting styles, thinking that theirs is the only correct way. This can lead to a lot of arguments and a breakdown in relationships among parents in the community. Additionally, their behavior can set a bad example for their children, teaching them that it's okay to be judgmental and uncooperative rather than inclusive and respectful.
