They usually have a large cast of characters that evolve over the course of the series. In the 'Outlander' series, we see the main characters grow and change through different historical periods.
They are often full of humor. For example, they may use witty dialogues to make readers laugh. In 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', the conversations between the characters are always unexpected and hilarious.
Sure. 'Harry Potter' series is a very popular world - series English novel. It tells the story of a young wizard Harry Potter's adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Another great one might be 'Three Men in a Boat' by Jerome K. Jerome. It humorously tells the story of three friends on a boating trip, with lots of comical mishaps and funny character interactions. The author's vivid descriptions and the characters' banter make it a very enjoyable read.
Another great one might be 'Good Omens'. It combines elements of comedy and the supernatural. The story of an angel and a demon trying to stop the apocalypse in their own bumbling ways is extremely funny.
Wow, I'm begging for the world's only novel series! This is a super long book list. Here are my personal recommendations:
[Burning Blood Dragon Emperor]: This is a fantasy-Eastern fantasy novel. Through a young man's resistance against the heavens, the entire world will be changed.
"Only in All Worlds": This is a novel about a person who only wants to be the only one in the entire world.
"The Only True Realm": This is a novel about a mysterious and wonderful world. It is about the magical powers that the extraordinary dice bring to its owner.
"Talisman Card Artisan": This is a fantasy novel about a foreign continent. A descendant of the Talisman Sect comes to the world of cards and grasps all the knowledge of talismans.
"The Era of the Descent of the Heavens": This is a light novel, a derivative doujinshi novel. It tells the story of the destruction of the myriad worlds and the world entering the Era of the Heavens. The protagonist takes risks along the way and becomes the only existence in the myriad worlds.
"Wandering the World from the Wilderness": This was a novel about the infinite universe. The protagonist was bound to the Wanjie Travel System, completing various missions and traveling through different worlds.
The above is my personal recommendation. I hope you like my recommendation. Muah ~ If you are interested in other types of novels, feel free to tell me at any time ~😗
The Hunger Games series has elements of an empty world. The districts outside of the Capitol are impoverished and lack many of the basic comforts and freedoms. The arenas where the Games take place are also desolate and empty of normal human society, filled only with the tributes fighting for their lives.
Survival is also a big theme. Living on the Ringworld is not easy, and the characters have to face various threats, from natural disasters to hostile species. They have to use their wits and skills to stay alive. For example, in 'Ringworld', the main characters encounter many dangerous situations during their exploration. They need to find food, water and shelter in this unfamiliar environment.
