The Wielder of Death Magic

The Wielder of Death Magic

Thrust into an enigmatic world born from bloodshed; venture inside its complexities, dark-side, and always changing nature. At the center, a boy; brought up by an exiled mage, steps into a life of independence. A test to try and change his life for the better after witnessing what war can do to a person. The walk towards finding a stable living gets toppled as a unique magical element awakens. Using people, toying with emotions, doing anything and everything to get what he wants, this is the life of the next Death Reaper. Mostly emotionless, life continues as questions about his state of mind and being remains clouded behind many personas. This isn’t the story of a single man, it’s the story of a whole world. Read as the world builds itself from the ground up. Conspiracies, evil, the dark side of humanity. In addition, tis the start of a new age; the birth of monsters – a story depicting the tales of the first heroes and demons to ever exist. The Wielder of Death Magic isn’t a typical fantasy. The heroes don’t summon forth power from heroes of old, here, the characters are the ones who make up the myths and legends for the next generation. Amidst the turmoil, Staxius, he lives on, watching and waiting as the world grows. P.S, I’m not that normal of a writer, my advice is to not expect anything going into this world. Forget everything, I personally, don’t care about rules and limitations and what can be considered to be the norm – the characters are given life, the world moves on its own; I’m just a spectator. No plot, nothing planned, all that you read is the product of the characters moving and acting individually. As opposed to me subjecting them with my emotions, the connection is reversed. They are the ones who dictate the story (Believe it or not, that's the way I write) A world, a story, characters, and the foolish author; we all evolve as one. On behalf of the people mentioned above, thanks for reading, I appreciate it all. [Cover is copyrighted by Sxperimental]

Chu Qingzhi, a modern cultivator, went down to earth to experience love. She was forced to transmigrate into the body of a peasant girl in the ancient past. Her family had a total of nine children. She had no choice but to shoulder the burden of supporting the family. She used spells to tame a tiger as her mount, a black bear as her guardian, a wolf as a helper, and a monkey as the pathfinder. They went hunting together. She then sold ice cream, which she made using an ice spell, on the streets. She planted herbs for medicine, offered clinical diagnosis and treatment to patients, and attracted princes and nobles who fought over her. Even the emperor addressed her with a respected title. To become immortal, she supported her family while searching for a husband. *** Ever since the poorest family in the village brought their daughter home, they thought their lives would only get tougher. To their surprise, they started building a house and buying land... They didn't just bring their daughter home, but they brought the God of Fortune home! *** A general, who even the princess refused to marry, returned to the country to rest for some time. The novels also create more emotional connections. When you read about a planeswalker's journey, like Gideon Jura's struggles and triumphs, you start to care more about the character. This in turn makes playing cards associated with that character in the game more exciting. It's like you're part of their story. For example, when Gideon faces his toughest foes in the novels, it makes using his cards in the game feel more significant as you know the backstory behind his actions.

Well, the Magic the Gathering story started from the creative mind of Richard Garfield. It was designed as a game that not only had gameplay mechanics but also a story behind it. The initial idea was to have a world where magic was real and different factions fought for power. As new sets were released, more elements were added to the story. For example, the conflict between the guilds in Ravnica was introduced, which brought a whole new layer of storytelling. And the planeswalker concept further deepened the connection between different parts of the story, allowing for more epic battles and alliances across different planes.
